  1. It's been happening since the first public beta of 10.13. It can be quite clear if you look at the software update history. In my hack, it's showing "Developer beta" although it is set to receive only the public betas. For example, today I've updated the OS to public beta 2 (which is released two days ago), but look at the history, it says "macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 Developer Beta". Similarly, ALL of the entries in the history contain "Developer beta" NOT "Public beta" which I have never seen in the previous OSes. Muntashirs-MBP:~ muntashir$ softwareupdate --history | grep "Dev" macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 Developer Beta 2 11/09/2017, 09:49:13 macOS High Sierra Developer Beta 1 11/03/2017, 07:54:58 macOS High Sierra Developer Beta 1 11/03/2017, 03:08:38 macOS High Sierra Developer Beta 9 11/02/2017, 07:14:49 macOS High Sierra Developer Beta 7 08/22/2017, 22:57:37 macOS High Sierra Developer Beta 6 08/17/2017, 07:58:35 macOS High Sierra Developer Beta 5 08/10/2017, 17:52:36 macOS High Sierra Developer Beta 4 07/27/2017, 06:22:08 macOS High Sierra Developer Beta 3 07/25/2017, 03:45:58
  2. Public beta 2 is released yesterday.
  3. 10.13.2 public beta 2 (17C67b) has been released.
  4. Same here on my Kaby Lake laptop. How can it be related to apfs.efi when I'm using HFS+J?

    [pre-release] macOS High Sierra

There's no such option as Remote Disc Sharing in the System Preferences > Sharing. All the checkboxes are already unselected.

After updating to pb4 (dp5), I'm getting a new device in the sidebar called "Remote Disc". There's no trace of it anywhere other than the sidebar. It can be neither ejected nor removed.

As RehabMan said, "I'm in no hurry (it comes with age)". It seems 10.13.pb4 has just been released along with new Command Line Tools beta for Xcode 9. According to the previous releases, this should have the same build number as dp5.

It still appears in my case.

EasyKext Pro "A Minimal and Super Fast Kext installer"

I saw an EasyKextPro repo in your GitHub profile, did you plan to make it Open Source? Also, it's not working properly on macOS 10.13.
  10. I suggest you begin from scratch. Reinstall macOS, Clover (use RehabMan's config.plist) and don't put anything to CLOVER/patched: just perform a vanilla install. Then, send me the ioreg, clover (press f2 to get boot log in clover).

Grey screen problem is automatically resolved, but I had to wait for 3 hrs playing with the mouse pointer.
  12. Even when using an invalid platform id?
  13. I don't see the messages in the log that you've posted earlier.

    [pre-release] macOS High Sierra

I'm getting a grey screen with a mouse pointer when I tried to boot (after installation is done). On a previous installation of the same version of HS (dp1), something miracle happened and the language chooser screen appeared, but not this time so far. But I have reasons to believe that the language chooser did appear in the second time, but couldn't see it due to the grey screen. Also, I needed to use -xpcm during the second boot (I forced shutdown and tried a second time, but it stuck near "Waiting for DSMOS" which seems to solve if I use -xpcm bootflag). My machine is Kaby Lake (i3-7100u, HD620) notebook
