    CPU: AMD FX-8120 Black Edition @ OC 3.8GHz Motherboard: Asus M5A97 EVO ChipSet: AMD 970 RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz SATA: 3 HDDs , Mixed 5TB IDE: None on board USB 2.0: All ports work. USB 3.0: Currently Untested Firewire: Works GPU: Galaxy GTX 465. no acceleration. LAN: RTL8111/8168 Uknown Wifi: TP-Link TL-WDN4800 Works Sound: Internal - AMD: Currently not working PS2: None Kernel: Sinetek test1 md3sum:d636bc61e24e2b50628b28641e1e8c52 All other kernels instant reboot.
  2. Reposted here. I installed from 10.8.0 with Sinetek's original kernel. Then updated to 10.8.2. Anything that I have seen since just instantly reboots after processing kexts. Output of lspci
  3. Hi all. I have a FX-8120 on a ASUS M5A97 EVO motherboard with 16GB of ram & a nVidia GTX 465. So far I have only been only able to use Sinetek's original ML kernel. Everything from Sinetek since & AnV's reboots instantly reboots after processing kexts. Currently have AnV's corecrypto.kext installed and the 10.8.0 AppleACPIPlatform.kext IOACPIFamily.kext IOPCIFamily.kext System.kext kexts. I have tried "-f -v npci=x3000" with and with -x. I don't have the nVidia driver in /S/L/E. Any Ideas?   4. Did some more testing. If I set "USB 2.0 Controller Mode" to FullSpeed I have a 50/50 chance of actually get the system up with EHCI controllers running. It appears to stall somewhere else then on the times it fails to boot.
  5. Had the lastest and even tried downgrading. The only thing I can find that works is disabling EHCI all together.
  6. Didn't work. Dies "Attempting to get EHCI controller from bios" I believe. EDIT: Could this be a bios bug?
  7. I got my system to finally boot ( still running 10.6.3) using the kernel pkg from this forum. I have a athlon II 640 with a ASUS M4A78 PRO motherboard. To boot I need to disable ehci usb in the bios and "arch=i386". If I do use ehci the kernel hangs, no KP. if I use -force64 some apps don't run,(Firefox for example). any ideas on the usb2 issue?
