  1. Yeah, I do have it in the list. That's how I'm securing it for now. I tried the same thing on two different routers and it did the same thing. Worked fine without WEP but turn it on and BAM, no connection.
  2. Ok, back to WIRELESS stuff... Is there something you need to fix in OS X to be able to use WEP? I seem to have problems connecting when I have WEP enabled. I use MAC filtering instead so I have some protection but I was wondering if there was anything needs to be done to use WEP or WAP. Thanks!
  3. Toshiba 1110 Celeron 2.0GHZ PAE

Using 10.4.1, the System Profiler says that there is PAE supported. Sweet. I actually can install 10.4.3 8F1111 but I have keyboard and touchpad recognition problems. The touchpad stops working when I push any key on the keyboard and nothing works until I plug in my USB mouse/keyboard combo. Oh well.
  4. Startup Options

Thanks!! What is Quiet Boot? And where can I find info on this sort of thing? (So I don't have to bug you guys about it.) Also, where is the boot list contained? If I set the timeout to 0 it stops on the NTFS partition (though it doesn't continue). How can I get it to automatically go to the OS X one?
  5. Startup Options

When I split my HD in half, installed OS X on the first then XP on the second, I got both on the Darwin startup screen. I got the XP boot.ini booting to either XP or OS X but I would like to change the timeout for the OS X/Darwin startup menu. Where is the file that or program that deals with that? Thanks!
  6. I was wondering if anybody knows if it is possible and how to get a Motorola WN825G PCMCIA wireless network card working in 10.4.1? EDIT: I read somewhere that in a real Mac, this card is identified as an AirPort Extreme card because they both have the same chipset. How can I load the AirPort Extreme drivers? EDIT AGAIN: Follow this: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?s=...findpost&p=7598 Remember you need to have the X-Code tools installed.
  7. Hardware Compatability Lists (HCLs)

If it says in System Profiler that there is PAE in my CPU features, I would assume that 10.4.3 should be able to install. I only ask because my system is running 10.4.1 with the 10.4.3 Update they made a while ago and I wondered if that would make any difference? Please PM me if you have a response or experience running the same hardware I am.
  8. I've beeing looking all over the place and I can't seem to find out whether the Celeron 2.0Ghz in my Toshiba notebook supports PAE. I'm pretty sure that it's a Mobile Celeron. Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated. If it doesn't then I won't be able to install 10.4.3. Some please have some good news for me!! Thanks!
