I’m still on Sierra with no freezes at all. Just running smooth!

According to macrumors.com there is a way to run Mojave on HD3000: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/macos-10-14-mojave-on-unsupported-macs-thread.2121473/page-36#post-26177370

Anyone who knows if the T420 is MacOS 10.14 Mojave capable?

For what I have heard this is a Clover bug... Other users downgraded Clover.

There are issues with high sierra on the/some T420’s. You can read the last posts on this thread! My T420 had issues too and I switched back to Sierra until there is a solution.

Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

My T420 had so many crashes while searching for a solution that a clean install was a important first step. I hope someone finds a solution so I can upgrade to High Sierra. Now I'm back on Sierra I notice some differences compared to High Sierra. Power management / sleep works again! Battery now shows actual level. When I (dis)connect the power cable the laptop beeps. Could be I messed that all up while testing....

I booted a linux live stick (live cd works the same) and used geparted to remove all partitions.

Booting my T420 in safe modus does not solve the problem.
