  1. Yeah, thanks I tried a custom DSDT edit (see original post, now edited) without luck and a few of the other suggestions in the thread. Nothing
  2. Any resources I can check out to find out how to do this?
  3. Hey guys, I recently picked up a DWA-556 Dual Band because I heard it had great compatibility. It detects just fine as native AirPort on my Mountain Lion installation but it doesn't seem to pick up any networks. I assume that because it's detected, I don't need to modify any kexts. So I'm using vanilla Mountain Lion IONetworkingFamily.kext and IO80211Family.kext (does that sound right?). Here's the system profiler dump: Software Versions: CoreWLAN: 3.0 (300.9) CoreWLANKit: 2.0 (200.10) Menu Extra: 8.0 (800.7) configd plug-in: 8.0 (800.15) System Information: 8.0 (800.1) IO80211 Family: 5.0 (500.15) WiFi Diagnostics: 1.1 (110.26) AirPort Utility: 6.1 (610.31) Interfaces: en0: Card Type: AirPort Extreme (0x168C, 0x3A7E) Firmware Version: Atheros 9380: MAC Address: ... 4. Patched Leo DVD wont boot (restarts)

I know it loads a bunch of kext, but can't tell if it gets done with them or not... What does this mean? (apologies for the newbness)
  5. Patched Leo DVD wont boot (restarts)

Hey, I'm using -v -x and I can see all the files it's loading But it seems to just reset in the middle of loading all of the files (before it gets to the leopard installer) and I can't figure out why because I dont have time to read the last debugging message :\ Any hints?
  6. Hey guys, Is there an extra flag/option I can specify when booting from a patched leo DVD that won't cause my machine to reset on errors? It's quite difficult to debug Or anyone know what this is usually a cause of? Thanks in advance, sorry if this too vague or a rehash.
