Thanks for the info. All the 3 DP ports show up here with 10.14.6 Beta 2, however the 3rd DP port (next to HDMI) has this issue during boot: https://streamable.com/lxke6 And I have scratchy audio in DP audio, however if I leave the computer on for 2-3 days, it goes away. However a simple restart (lets say I want to boot into Windows) it comes back again. But otherwise, the GPU is working very well no issues in daily tasks.

Update #2 with latest Lilu + WG....It actually made things worst. Audio glitch via DP now lasts forever, with previous release it would fix over time until you restarted. And performance is lower now. I don't know how the Lilu/WG dev can fix this, I made some comments but not sure if they look at it.

Latest Lilu + WG did nothing for me, same issues...actually OpenCL scores are lower than before.

Catalina 10.15 Dev Beta 1 does not fix the purple lines and DisplayPort audio glitch either. The latter is really annoying, I can live with the purple lines, though.

As per Dev betas, they are applying bug fixes under the hood. For me, I noticed it's a little more stable than Beta 1 when running a lot of applications and intensive tasks. Radeon VII is working fine, minus the DisplayPort audio bug and the purple lines. The performance should be better than what we have now, maybe they will shift all resources to catalina after final of 10.14.6.

With 10.14.6 18G48f Beta 2, the following still have not been fixed. 1) Purple lines during the load bar 2) Scratchy DisplayPort Audio Otherwise it's pretty stable.

I see no improvements in 10.14.6 B1 Still have: 1) DisplayPort audio glitch 2) Slow speed in benchmark (LuxMark still shows 350Mhz, 50,000 score) 3) Purple lines during boot

Were you doing anything different when you ran those tests? I am getting around 171k right now and others have confirmed around that number too. Luxmark is 50k+ (Radeon VII) compared to 31k (Vega FE). Also remember Radeon VII has 4 less CUs than Vega FE / Vega 64, but it has a giant wide memory bandwidth and higher clock speeds compared to the previous gen Vega.

RX580 a good choice for Premiere Pro ?

While the RX580 is not bad, Premiere Pro is terribly optimized in general especially under OpenCL. (Metal is worse). I highly recommend spending a few extra bucks and getting a Vega 56 at least, I've seen refurbished Vega 56 go for $229 (blower style cooler). It's a hot card so if you want lest noise, you have to get a better cooler version.

What is your complaint exactly? I have the Radeon VII in a production Hackintosh and it's working perfectly fine...my only issue is audio distortion through DisplayPort, but I'm still investigating...

AMD doesn't write or optimize drivers for Apple. Apple does that, so any performance issues, we can blame Apple or the software that doesn't take advantage of it. Radeon VII under Windows is a full on beast, sometimes even beating the RTX2080 in certain computational tasks. 3D Gaming is another story.

Do you know what software deprecation means? OpenCL/OpenGL has been deprecated since Mojave. It means it will not be updated at all with latest stable releases of OpenCL/OpenGL and will disappear very soon. Any developer not moving to Metal by 10.15 will be staying behind. 10.14 was a warning, 10.15 will be a smack in the head by Apple just like it was with Rosetta. And 32bit software support will be gone too. OpenGL is being replaced by Vulkan anyway... You can get into the technicalities that they will still be included in 10.15, but the point is it's EOL (End of Life). Adobe will most likely completely remove OpenCL from their menus mid cycle of 10.15. Just put the original shroud back on and sell it. That's what I did.
