  1. Of course I know what the problem is. You're using a distro, that's what your problem is. Nah, it's hard to say without any system information. Seems however to be a graphic issue.
  2. Open your config in Clover Configurator go to ACPI/Renames and add EC0 to EC patch

    Clover Install Failure Catalina

Which version of Clover are you using?

    [pre-release] macOS Catalina

I have the same card in one of my test systems. I'll update that system to DP8 tomorrow to see if I have the same result. In the meantime you could give this a try:

    Bootloader for BIOS?

I am not quite sure if I understand you correctly. You can't boot OS X from a PC natively. However, bootloaders like, for instance, Clover will let you boot OS X as well as windows and linux.

Problem with Intel HD 3000 Mojave 10.14.6

Since your main question in that topic is about your graphics, for which you already created this topic, may I ask why you've created it? According to your last picture your system does start, but the iGPU doesn't do its job. Most likely due to the fact that the needed kexts/frameworks aren't (correctly) installed or due to a faulty config.

    [pre-release] macOS Catalina

Honestly I disagree, because: 1. All catalogs contain the regular downloads 2. Public beta is nothing more than a rebranded developer beta So it only causes duplicate entries and more code

    Dead in the water?

Clover configurator should work fine, under ACPI->DSDT

    macOS icon pack - request

A simple google search directed me to the download. macOS Icons.zip
  11. In theory, yes. It all depends on your current configuration but if you update Clover to its latest version as well as any kext that you're using you should be good.

    Dead in the water?

Like Hervé said, you need to rename your EC device's name or add it if it's not present. Check your DSDT and search for PNP0C09. Then in Clover add the patch accordingly (credits to MaLd0n): change EC0 to EC 4543305f 45435f5f change H_EC to EC 485f4543 45435f5f change ECDV to EC 45434456 45435f5f

    SSD vs. HDD

They do make 1TB ssds. Heck, they even have 4 TB SSDs. I currently have 2 SSDs (one for each OS) and a Hybrid SSD for data and honestly, whenever I am working on a PC with only HDDs I want to throw it out of the window

What an OSX to use on eMachines netbook?

Again no acceleration on graphics, but in theory you could, yes. Though you'll need a patched kernel because there also is no support for Atom CPUs by Apple. Take a look here: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Patched_Kernels

I agree with STLVNUB. I don't mind an advertisement here and there, but it's way too much and way to prominent. Sure, the servers don''t pay for themselves so indeed: a premium account with no ads would be the best option in my opinion.

What an OSX to use on eMachines netbook?

Sadly, no. The gpu it ships with (gma 3150) is not supported. There used to be a patched kext for it back in the days, but as far as I can remember that only gave native resolution, no acceleration and was for (Snow)Leopard.

    [pre-release] macOS Catalina

@chris1111 how does the HD 3000 perform? I did install Catalina on my mid-2011 macbook pro with the HD 3000 but the performance was really, really bad to the point of not being usable at all

    Clover General discussion

I have multiple SSDs. Currently one for macOS, one for Windows and 2 others for data. macOS is installed on disk 0 and Clover is on its EFI, windows is on disk 1

    Clover General discussion

I'm not sure if the issue is Clover, but I guess I have the biggest chance to get an answer here Situation: Clover UEFI is set as first boot option in my UEFI bios. So when I boot up the system, it boots up into Clover. No issues there. The issue: When rebooting from macOS the system reboots normal but then hangs a couple of secs on POST. Eventually it'll continue the booting process but on the point where Clover should load up the system just freezes, like if it can't find Clover. This happens 9/10 times. 1/10 times it reboots into Clover just fine. This only happens while rebooting from macOS. Rebooting from any other OS (booted from Clover) works just fine. Also rebooting from Clover itself works without issues, so the issue really is limited to a fully booted macOS. Any ideas?

    Catalina On Older HW

Never tried to install Mojave/Catalina on my 2008 unibody macbook, but did so on my mid 2011 macbook pro and the performance was pretty bad to say the least.

    macOS Mojave 10.14.6 is Out

Well, I have the same "issue" but never really looked into it. On my Precision I manually have to select the installer, while on my Probook for instance I don't have to because Clover picks it up just fine.

    Windows XP 2019 Edition [Concept]

Man, I can still remember the day that I re-installed my windows 98 PC with Windows XP and I was like: "Wow, dude! This looks beau-ti-full!". 18 years ago... However, the above gives me a feeling that someone took Windows XP and threw it from a cliff and then tried to fix everything using nothing but ducttape

  24. Back in the days I was running Mavericks and Yosemite on a FX 8120 in combination with a XFX Radeon HD 7850 and it wouldn't work without a patched framebuffer because the personalities in the 7000controller kext did not match with my card, thus I would always have a black screen. I need to admit that I don't know how that's done using WhateverGreen but all I did back then was changing the port layout (I can't really remember what I did exactly because it's 5 years ago, but I believe the framebuffer had a hdmi connector on port 1 whereas my card had a DVI connector on that port so I changed that)
