    New macOS version hackathlon

I think it's fun on a small scale, but won't make sense on a big scale. I mean, a big part of this community will be downloading and installing the beta at basically the same time. One would then need to post to this forum. Especially with the issues this forum has regarding speed, it's hard to say who really was the first.

    System reboot with nvidia drivers

Not sure. On my legacy system (optiplex 755) I do not experience any issues regarding to nvram. I don't have AptioMemoryFix, but I do have EmuVariable. I also did install the RC scripts.

    System reboot with nvidia drivers

Yep. If nvram works properly, the variable should be still there after a reboot.

    System reboot with nvidia drivers

it's under System Parameters > NvidiaWeb Just for fun: sudo nvram test=test Reboot and see if it's still there: nvram test

    Fail to update high sierra

Remove the /macOS Install Data/ Folder, re-download the update and try again
  6. Maybe I'm joining the party a little late, but in order to use remote access you'll need to enable this in settings > sharing > screen sharing. DP5 running without issues (as expected) on my 790
  7. Update to DP 5 went fine as usual on my Optiplex 790 and Probook:
  8. I'm using a 17" VGA monitor with the GT 710 on my Optiplex 755 running HS without issues (default macOS Drivers), so I guess it's very GPU depended

    [Theme] Clover MSI theme

Just a tip for the screenshot: hit F10. That will take a screenshot and saves it at /EFI/CLOVER/Misc
  10. That's a USB issue. Either your USB is not good or corrupted, or your USB ports are not working within macOS. I believe USBBusFix is Chameleon/Enoch specific, so it won't work with Clover. For Clover you'll need to set "Devices>USB>Inject" and "Devices>USB>FixOwnership" to true in your config.plist Please post your EFI folder. It's not that I want you to use El Capitan, but I would advise you to do so because ML is pretty old.
  11. To answer your question: try npci=0x2000 or npci=0x3000 But I'd indeed follow PandaStirling's advice and install El Capitan (El Capitan is indeed the last macOS version that your CPU supports due to the lack of SSE4.x, which Sierra < needs).

Clover notification before it boots up

It's nothing to worry about. It's the debug log from apfs.efi. If you think it's annoying, take a look in the High Sierra thread. A couple of people posted a log-free version of apfs.efi there.
  13. Because you did not boot into the installer. Check if the /macOS Install Data/ folder is present. If so, upon boot there should be a new entry to update macOS. If not, update Clover.
