  1. AMD and Retail Snow Leopard 10.6.5 --> 10.6.8 Final[GUIDE]

Hello, I'm having problems booting into boot CD. I have HP dm3 1130 AMD NEO X2 1.6Ghz L335 ( SSE 1, SSE2, SSE3, AMD-V) AMD 780G chipset AMD SB700 south bridge I'm using LG external dvd drive to boot. I tried -v cpus=1 platform=ACPI platform=x86PC -f -x nothing seems to work, it keeps going to panic. It says driver for "ACPI" not found.. This is a picture, sorry for blurry quality. http://i51.tinypic.com/deafqs.jpg
  2. Kalyway 10.4.10 instalation has problems with Safari, please upload these two fiels in attachment so I can fix my safari. Thanks They are inside System/Library/Keychains/ x509Anchors x509Certificates
  3. Hello everyone, This has already been mentioned in here, but I thought creating a new thread would be much more clearer for tiger users. First, you need to download the attachment, which contains Kext Helper.app Patched, AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext All you need to do is go to System/Library/Extensions and copy it to desktop [for backup incase something goes wrong] and then removing it from the extensions folder, while having a copy safe in the desktop. Then open Kext Helper, drag the patched AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext and install. Reboot, and remember to throw the paperclip out the window GMA900_Tiger_Fix.zip
  4. How to get 1366x768 resolution?

since I can't change to my native resolution, using both your methods, Is there a way to tell my monitor not to stretch the image accross my screen? In 1360x768 the 6 pixels make the screen stretch, causing a wave-pattern like blur in my screen. Like this Blur Sharp Blur Sharp Blur Sharp Blur Sharp
  5. Hello, I have a 19" 16:9 LCD monitor with a native resolution of 1366x768, however I can only achieve 1360x768. Is there any way I can get 1366x768? I've tried the "Graphics Mode"=, but it does not work. Also, I've got a nVidia 9800GT video card, and it works well, with everything supported. Thanks
  6. Private alpha test of Voodoo 9.5 Kernel

Thinkpad Intel Celeron 1.4Ghz 1.25GB Ram 30GB hard drive Intel GMA900 PC AMD Athlon 64 3400+ 1GB Ram 200GB hard drive ATI 9600
  7. EFiX: OSx86 gone commercial?

I say that this is not revolutionary and that netkas is not revealing anything about it because it will prevent people from buying it.. Why the hell didn't some of these question in here???
  8. External Monitor GMA900

Putting the pin inside everytime really stinks
  9. External Monitor GMA900

Is there a script that can do the switching displays automatically? Its a real pain disabling the second screen every time i boot..
  10. Kalyway has good software preinstalled and it worked perfectly on my laptop
  11. Grand Theft Auto IV's Apple Parodies.

lol GTA IV is really cool
  12. I need a way to get this QE working on Leopard, or a way patch my JaS 10.4.8 ISO with the modified AppleVIAATA.kext files from Leo4Allv3, becuase leo4all is the only one that recognizes my hard drive and lets me install. I have that ISO, how can I patch it with the kext?
  13. Leo4Allv3

Eddie, I have JaS 10.4.8 AMD/Intel SSE2 SSE3 ISO, How can I patch the ISO so I can get my sata hard drive recognized? My Device ID is 0x55131039, how can I patch the kexts in the ISO? so it will recognize my sata hard drive like the Leo4Allv3 did. Thanks
  14. Help ATI 9600 Mobility on Leopard

I found this thread very promising. It showed many people who got it working on 10.4.8 to 10.4.10. I don't mind installing Tiger on my PC to get QE supported, infact I like Tiger more than leopard because I have been using Tiger for 6 months+ on my laptop. The only problem is that, none of the OSX releases work with my SATA other than Leo4Allv3 Leopard.. Eddie fixed it for me. So, right now I have JaS 10.4.8 AMD/Intel SSE2 SSE3 ISO, how can I patch it with the AppleVIAATA.kext from the Leo4Allv3 to recognize my SATA? Is there an easier way to install Tiger whilst keeping the AppleVIAATA.kext that recognizes my Sata?
  15. I think the best way to search for graphic card drivers is by using the Device ID. Like mine was 0x4e501002, I just search that in google and type insanelymac.com beside it, it finds the driver. :] Just my two cents..
