  1. Any news on this? How did you guys get sleep working in this laptop?
  2. Has any of you managed to get sleep working in the laptop? It's one of the last hurdles to get the cheap perfect OSX subnotebook...
  3. You mean it was hard because of the short cables I suppose... I also had that problem when I bought the 3G card, it took a few minutes to get everything in place. It's good to know there's one card non-blacklisted that works. Thanks for the heads up!
  4. What's the exact model of the card you installed? It's interesting since 2710p has wifi cards blacklisted and if you say this one worked for you...

    Samsung NC10 UK revision

Just one quick question... Is this noisy? I mean, in the Acer Aspire One, the fan can't be controlled through bios settings and it's always on in OSX. What happens with the NC10?
  6. Any news on this laptop? Have you guys made any improvements?

    VMware Kernel

I'm having this same problem myself. My system boots native without problems (10.4.8 Jas Ressed), but when trying to boot from vmware, kernel goes into 64 bit mode and crashes. Any solution for this?

    No SSE3 on Mac OS X 10.4.5

I have a Pentium D 805, which has SSE3. In OSX I also have that string for SSE3 (SS), but it shouldn't bother you, since in Linux, I have all also SS instead of SSE3. Just take a look to the relevant lines of cat /proc/cpuinfo in my 2.6.16 kernel installation: flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 apic sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 clflush dts acpi mmx fxsr sse sse2 ss ht tm pbe nx lm constant_tsc pni monitor ds_cpl tm2 cid cx16 xtpr lahf_lm
