  2. !C - well its feels good and looks good - something that im not sure about is the bus speed (freq) 533Mhz - in this Mobo i should see 6.4GHz or at least 4.8GHz ? its a known issue is there a fix for that ? i did the geekbench 64bit bench and get a result of 9787 - i will attach the bench (also there u can see the 536Mhz as bus freq) how this bench look and if there is something wrong about it !? also there is more tools and bench that i can make to be sure my rig is at top use ? Thanks in advanced =) Bench as txt : Platform: Mac OS X x86 (64-bit) Compiler: GCC 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5646) (dot 1) Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6.3 (Build 10D575) Model: Hackintosh Motherboard: Apple Computer, Inc. 3. Hello buds =) well after some reading and more reading and well more reading i go for it (hope as good it shuld be?) My specs : Mobo - GA-X58A-UD3R Rev.1.0 Cpu - Intel i930 + Mugen 2 Cooling (NO O.c - for now) Memory - 3 x 2Giga of kingstone ddr 1333 1.5v (triple CH tested) GFX - ASUS GT220 1Giga HD - 1 x HD WD Sata 3 Black 64mb - new from the bug (only for SL) not been formated yet (Conected to the ICH Sata_0 port AHCI is enable) DVDr - SATA DVDR (Conected to the ICH Sata_1 port AHCI is enable) PSU - X650 Seasonic Case - Antec P182SE Key & Mouse - Conected as USB Bios Settings : (1st save with f11 ur profile give it a name and save) Note : my HD connected to ICH Sata_0 and my DVDr connected to ICH Sata_1 load optimized - then : i follow Kakewalk steps : Step 2 - Setting up BIOS 5. Enter BIOS and go to "Advanced Features" 6. Make sure to set the first boot device to CDROM and secondary to Harddrive 7. Set "Hard Disk Boot Priority" to the harddrive you're going to install to. eg. 1. SCSI-1: WD 750GB 2. SCSI-0: WD 500GB 8. Go back (ESC), go to "Integrated peripherals" 9. IMPORTANT: Set "SATA RAID/AHCI Mode" to "AHCI" 10.Go back (ESC), go to "Power Management" 11.Set the "ACPI Suspend Type" to "S3(STR)" 12.Set "HPET Mode" to "64-bit mode" 13.Save and Exit, by pressing "F10" b4 i exit the bios with the new settings i save a new profile so i can easy change when i need a mac settings or win settings - just an case i do complete different things. i did go with kakewalk way (CD/DVD Method) -> burn kakewalk iso in my win7 machine -> boot the target machine with the crated kakewalk boot cd -> then insert a retail 10.6.3 SL DVD - installation went like 25min or so - ends successfully -> then i hit restart and change the DVD of the SL with the kakewalk boot cd again -> in this screen i selected the partition i just installed SL to and hit enter -> SL loading last settings and finally Im up and running ! Next need to install kakewalk boot loader - i lunch it from the kakewalk cd and find out that my MOBO is not at the list - but i remember i dl the new boot loader from here : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...amp;hl=kakewalk - so i lunch this new boot loader 2.2 and my mobo was on the list - i w8 until its finish installation - i take out the boot cd - restart - now SL is loading and up and running =) well all is sweet and looking good - but whats more important is this really working good - im uploading a pics i capture to help u help me see if its all is fine = in the "dry" level - in the "wet" level i really want to make a bench and get the results and see if my ICH speeds and CPU - RAM is function as it should = at max capacity - since this build is ment for DAW - testing the latest (Audio recordings and tools) Then how should i start with bench tools -> what tools is recommended ? -> how to use them correctly? -> what results should be good regarding my specs? Thanks in advanced =)
