  1. ATI Radeon Mobility Series

I've got a Mobility 2600 HD that runs with no driver, 1024X768. I also have a bios setting to run in x1200 mode. This is also working 1024X768. I think you'll find you will be successful, you may have to remove the 1000 series kexts (or take out your deviceid) to get it to work with no driver. I'm on an AMD btw, so I'm runnin the 10.5.1 AMD release.
  2. AMD Chipset

I'm running uphuck 10.4.9 on a laptop with ATI/AMD chipset with no issues.
  3. ATI Radeon Mobility HD 2600

I'd settle for anything that gets me 1280x800 for now. I guess there aren't many laptops with either the 2600 or the x1200 so I may be sol.
  4. I'm looking for a solution for my laptop. I get video but have no control over resolution. My video card is an ATI Radeon Mobility HD 2600. I can make a change in my BIOS to make it an xpress 1200. All I really want to do is get my native resolution of 1280x800. I'm not too concerned about performance so if I have to run in 1200 mode that's ok. I have tried the netkas package, it recognizes my card but then I get a black screen which I guess can be expected since only dvi out is working for the desktop version. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm running an ASUS F3KA-A1, AMD with Uphuck's 1.4a install. Thanks in advance...
