1. I'm using the latest ##### and ##### 3.7. I can use ##### to load the installation, install, and initially boot OS X just fine. However, after installing 10.6.7 combo and then running ##### (DSDT, and Non-DSDT routines) results in the Boot logo coming up, and not actually loading anything upon boot. Going into -v mode will result in a blank, black screen. So, it doesn't seem to be doing anything.. If I boot the OS with ##### first, then I'm just fine, so I'm at a loss here. I'm using a GA-P67A-D3-B3 board, Core i5 with a 8800GT Kyle
2. OpenCL works now on Fermi Cards

Would I be correct in assuming the GTX 460 would also work? I'm also curious about the driver, is it the one thats contained in a recent mac update? Thanks! Kyle
3. I'm curious as to what the most stable, and fastest NVIDIA card currently supported is? Not only would I want it to boot, but also fully utilize the cards CL and GL performance. It would be great if I could get memory size specs, maybe even a vendor name which works. This is an incredibly expensive purchase, and it would be unwise not to do the proper research right? So, I must ask you brilliant folks first before I add a card to the cart ;-) Thanks!
4. AppleHDA Solution - Work in progress

AppleHDAPatcher 1.2 Worked on my Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L .. Good job! Didn't even need a reboot! I just heard the whitenoise come in my headphones after about 3 seconds, and was able to play anything just fine. I used a seemingly random ACL888 dump from the list of Linux codec dumps (link given in first post). Simply used alc888.txt, not the a, b, or d.. Not sure if the others would work or not. But thanks alot! I can't believe how active this particular thread is. Again, thanks a lot. Kyle White
5. Hey. I have this board, and I believe I've tried every POSSIBLE hardware/bios configuration (with Aitkos 1ir Leopard) Here's what I end up with, given the combinations. I believe I have the F10 BIOS. I'm using the top 1 Orange port. An installation that succeeds the setup, but will not boot at all. BIOS does Not report "No Operating System Found", but I simply lockup solid. Thats with AHCPI on, Native, but drive port mode on IDE An installation that succeeds the setup, but the BIOS ends up reporting no bootable disks. AHCPI off, native on, port mode on IDE Waiting for Root Device (Of course!) AHCPI on, Native SATA on, Port mode on AHCPI With this on, I require the use of a IDE->USB Adapter Obviously no install. Oh, and I've selected the correct packages (i Believe) ... Vanilla Kernel (Which I believe is marked as SSE2 SSE3 Kernel??) ... Tried it with and without that, tried it with and without the STOCK kernel, tried it with and without EFI, .. etc etc.. I believe You can say I've tried: exponent(niOptions, 2) different ways.. I have tried ALL of the following with 2 different SATA drives. I only have one motherboard and DVD+R though. Only one SATA drive is plugged in at a time though. Think anyone knows what could cause the MBR's not to be set, or the freeze when ABOUT to boot? For the freeze, The BIOS will go: Boot from CDROM?, and then proceed to completely freeze. Seems like a freeze in the MBR program of something. I get no Bootloader text. Thanks for your help!
6. Oh, that does sound like its worth a try then.. Thanks for the info
7. If you're referring to the driver it loads when you uncheck Titan, then it basically just locks the screenbuffer when its supposed to load the desktop. So I guess that means it didn't load the video driver successfully in that case. My guess is I should just try another video adapter. This is some Gigabyte 6600GT.. If theres actually another driver I can load in somehow after the initial setup, then I'd like to know how to do that.
8. Well, I'm booted into the OS, but everythings now rotated 90 degrees .. The video driver fails to load on my 8800GTS (Can't boot), but when I put my 6600GT in, it's all rotated. Using the Titan drivers of course. Crazy stuff! It's also listing my resolutions in this format: 1200x1920 768x1024 .. etc, they're reversed Anyone know the solution to this?
9. Hey all! New member here. I've got a problem that I'm having during the middle of the install process, and I haven't actually seen anyone else describe it, although I haven't looked everywhere. I apologize if this has already been addressed, though. I have the GA-965P-DS3, with a SATA HD (Western Digital 120GB; possibly useless info) I setup all the required BIOS settings.. I'm trying to install 10.4.8 JaS The author mentions you MUST have a SATA adapter for your IDE DVD drive, but I was able to boot with an IDE and have it read the install DVD just fine; all the way up to the middle of copying the installation files (Essentials Package). When it gets to copying the 'Essentials', I basically get "Install Error, Restart", or something like that. Now, I was able to use the SAME DVD, and install it on an older machine, and it had no problem at all.. Infact, after I did the first step of the install, I put the harddrive back in my own machine and it worked fine. However, I'm reinstalling it and I don't have access to that older machine anymore. I tried a couple different DVD copies, same problem.. My machine has never had problems reading this particular brand of DVD disk before, so I'm at a loss here. Obviously, the setup boots, starts installing, etc.. What would be failing in this case? Just some crazy problem with my DVD or something? Great thread.. And great work so far guys. This is a community just bursting with people that are incredibly helpful. Thanks for your time <edit> I put in another DVD drive, and it installs -- But now once I start booting into the OS, it never gets past the gray bootup screen (Crossed out overlay; Kind of an opaque overlay; Very unapple-like) .. Any ideas? Also -- This particular DVD has installed just fine on this system before, so no CLUE how I'm getting this now.. Maybe it's a package I selected? I did select the Titan NVIDIA Driver. I do have an NVIDIA card as well, but I believe its far newer (8800GTS) than this driver. That is the one piece of hardware that has changed in my system. </edit>
