  1. It doesn't work for me I have an AW m15x too with Intel 82577LC. I'm on iatkos v7 10.5.7 - HELP?
  2. http://www.hackint0sh.org/f181/136708.htm Here's my thread on installing v7...still working on it..v7 works fine on it I booted with the flags cpus=1 busratio=12 -v ... installs without any problem..make sure you dont install the speedstep drivers - caused a kernel panic for me. I just got bluetooth working - testing ethernet now...keep following my thread for updates. I'm also looking for help with my DSDT so that all my cores can work.
  3. Hi could anyone help me patch my DSDT? I read the guides and used DSDTSE to compile my DSDT to try and fix the cpus=1 problem but my DSDT doesn't have any lines or processors in Alias that I can remove. I'm running iatkos v7 10.5.7 and have attached the dsl file. Any help would be appreciated. dsdt.zip
  4. Well im trying to at the moment, iatkos 5i didnt work...will be tryin iatkos v7 soon
  5. As I speak, I'm setting off on a journey to try and dual boot my m15x with OSx86. I'm familiar with this process and have tried it out on quite a few other laptops but have always been unsuccessful. My build is as follows: CPU: Intel Core i7 720QM @ 1.60GHz Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M RAM: 4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 664MHz Sound: IDT High Definition Audio CODEC Ethernet: Intel® 82577LC Gigabit Network Connection Wifi: Intel® WiFi Link 5300 AGN I'm going to follow this guide (Alienware M17X - InsanelyMac Forum). I already tried installing iatkos 5i but the installation was stuck on the first white apple boot logo screen itself. I'm going to attempt to install iatkos v7 as soon as I get the iso. Any suggestions? I searched around to see if anyone's done this before but didnt find anything much. Also, is it possible for me to dual boot Snow Leopard with my current Windows 7 installation? I don't want to format and install Snow Leopard first and reinstall 7..

  9. Try this... 1. Insert the Kalyway Disk into ur DVD-Drive and boot from it...Basically just put in the installation disk. 2. Goto Disk Utility, select ur disk and click on Repair Permissions 3. Exit and restart without the DVD... See if this works...worked for me when my installation used to go around in infinite loops between language and importing other settings..
