You can find the unedited dsdt files in the CLOVER\acpi\origin folder. The patches yes pretty sure as they fixed issues but the following are recommended for working battery by Rehabman Fix mutex Os check fix win 8 Hp g6 2221ss

    HP Omen 17 Laptop Battery

Hi Guys, Hardware: HP Omen 17-an011na Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ Kaby Lake - Intel® HM175 NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 (2 GB) - Intel® HD Graphics 630 (1920x1080) Sleep/wake, sound + volume buttons, brightness buttons, Intel graphics working. Hoping someone might be able to help with my battery not working fully, Ill run through where I'm at: Patched clean DSDT with the following Rehabman patches: brightness keys patch usb_prw_0x6d_xhc_skl Shutdown fix v2 Fix mutex Os check fix win 8 Hp g6 2221ss Remaining battery time stuck at 20:00 and not charging when plugged in. Added extra patch taken from HP-DV6-3165sf patch as follows: # rewrite buggy UPBS method, provided by chihab222, credit gsly into method label UPBS remove_entry; into device label BAT0 insert begin Method (UPBS, 0, NotSerialized)\n {\n Store (^^PCI0.LPCB.EC0.MBST, Index (PBST, Zero))\n ^^PCI0.LPCB.EC0.SMRD (0x09, 0x16, 0x0A, RefOf (Local0))\n Store (Local0, Index (PBST, One))\n ^^PCI0.LPCB.EC0.SMRD (0x09, 0x16, 0x0F, RefOf (Local1))\n Store (Local1, Index (PBST, 0x02))\n ^^PCI0.LPCB.EC0.SMRD (0x09, 0x16, 0x09, RefOf (Local2))\n Store (Local2, Index (PBST, 0x03))\n }\n end; This additional patch enabled percentage and discharge time, but still not charging when plugged in. Rehabman recommended 'You should use ACPIDebug.kext (and the debug version of ACPIBatteryManager.kext) to debug your battery methods.' But I feel its a bit beyond me without at least an example/tutorial to lead me through the steps and what to look for. Recent debug files attached. Thanks Guys. debug_15105.zip

    10.7.2 update issues

Working fine here, just made sure I removed /System/Library/Extensions/AppleGraphicsControl.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePolicyControl.kext before boot

Fermi 5XX works with Lion DP4/GM!

Try totally removing this section and reboot. <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string></string> Depends which version of chameleon you are running

Hi Guys, If you are getting an 'ApplePolicyControl' kp on boot when updating try this little fix: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1759883 My system froze up half way through install so booted to other drive installed the update to the broken install (the drive that froze) then had to remove /System/Library/Extensions/AppleGraphicsControl.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePolicyControl.kext and all was fine added my device ID and everything was sweet. GTX 570

If you have windows on your machine and have macdrive installed you can edit the com.Chameleon.boot.plist from there and edit out any mistakes. or you could try booting with npci=0x2000 -x -v and hopefully boot in safe mode to fix it.

New Chimera 1.5.4 fixes detection of the ASUS GTX570 DCII http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/09/chi...cetime-fix.html Note: remove <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string></string> Otherwise wont boot properly. Edit: Having problems, vlc etc wont play properly, with and without a graphics mode string..... Edit: Only way I can get graphics working properly is with -v Weird

Got my Asus GTX 570 Direct CU II working fine with dev id 1086 following the guide on page 1, need to do further tests tonight but got full res and transparent menu bar at top, just need the card identified properly in system info but I read that should be fixed/added in a new chameleon build. The black screen and apple top left at boot up is annoying tho, would the following fix that?? <key>Legacy Logo</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1920x1080x32</string>
  10. Make sure to set your bios to AHCI and set HPET to Enabled 64-bit. Also try booting with 'npci=0x2000' at chameleon command prompt on boot drive (press tab a few times at chameleon/kakewalk boot screen). I now have Lion running smooth with a GTX570 and this board, audio and network working fine, only strange thing is my 1tb windows drive is not listed in disk utility which boots fine from the boot menu - weird.
  11. Im having similar probs installing. My laptops fan turns off as soon as the installer runs.. Thats with Kallyway and aitkos Ive tried useing -x and -f but that doesnt seem to work. Can I remove the .kext from the install .iso and reburn? Cheers
