  1. Hello everyone! Last week I received my Broadcom BCM94352Z (model DW1560) from Newegg, installed it into my Dell Inspiron 5558, and I can't get it to work in macOS 10.13.5. I thought that I might have received a knockoff, so I tried it in Linux Mint, and it recognized it as a BCM4352 and worked perfectly! I've tried almost everything I could find online and nothing is working (see below). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Methods I Tried: FakePCIID, FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi, BrcmPatchRAM2, BrcmFirmwareRepo I've also used AirportBrcmFixup and BrcmFirmwareData when injecting with Clover Laptop Specifications (Closest to MacBookAir 17,1, using SMBIOS for MacBook Pro 12,1) Intel Core i5-5250U Intel HD 6000 Graphics 8GB RAM 1 TB Hard Drive ALC3234 (apparently equivalent to ALC255 according to the net) Originally Intel Wireless, now BCM94352Z
  2. Hello, all. I recently installed macOS High Sierra (10.13.0, build 17A405) on an APFS partition on my HDD. Everything installed nicely, and I can boot into macOS just fine. That is, until I install Nvidia's web drivers for 17A405, version 378.10.10.10.15.120 and 378.10.10.10.15.117. After I installed it, the system no longer boots up to the log in screen. The system will just reset right before where it should get to the log in screen. I booted in verbose, but the text was scrolling too fast for me to read it. So I recorded it in slo-mo, and I can't see an abnormalities. I'll attach a photo of what it looks like right before it resets. Yes, I have NvidiaWeb checked in Clover, and when I boot with nv_disable=1, the same thing happens. Tried to boot with -x, and still no luck. I tried uninstalling the drivers with my iGPU, but it looks like the Intel HD 630 doesn't have support in High Sierra, or at least it won't boot with it. I'm booting with system definition iMac14,2. I've had this card for two years, and have never seen this happen on 10.11 or 10.12. System Intel Core i7-7700k @ 4.2GHz (not overclocked) MSI H110M Gaming motherboard 16GB DDR4 RAM EVGA GTX 970 4GB Any help would be appreciated, thanks! UPDATE: I actually got it to work using some kexts, NvidiaGraphicsFixup and Lilu.
  3. Hello everyone. Today I just installed macOS Sierra on my hackintosh. The installation was pretty painless for me, something I was pleased to come across. After I installed, I got my GTX 970 and ALC887 working and I was all set. Except for one thing: The internet connectivity died after about 30 minutes of playing a game and listening to YouTube music. This had happened on Yosemite and El Capitan, and I mainly installed macOS Sierra in hopes that this issue would be resolved. The issue repeats itself just about every 30 minutes. The connection still shows strong strength, and when I try to reconnect I get the error "Failed to join <network>." The only solution to the issue is to restart the router, a nuisance to everyone in my home. I've tried everything I could think of to fix this, but not I'm seeing myself out of options. Is there anything I could try to resolve this? Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Ever since I installed OS X El Capitan on my machine, I've been getting a very odd problem where the Wi-Fi connectivity dies out after a random amount minutes of watching Netflix or YouTube. Once, it took two hours for this to happen, but the day after, it took two minutes. So far, the only way I've found to fix the problem is by restarting the router which takes a couple of minutes and disconnects the whole house. My wireless card is a TP-Link N900 which has worked without this error before. Also note, that I am a victim of the ATHR: unknown locale: 21 error, but I have applied the working fix. The machine is running OS X El Capitan 10.11.4, but I just updated and am testing the problem.   6. Hello. I've just installed OS X 10.11.3 El Capitan on my Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series laptop. I extracted the DSDT using Clover twice and both gave me the same compilation error. I have provided the second attempt at extracting the DSDT in this post. I have tried using MaciASL on my functional Yosemite hackintosh and the laptop itself. In all MaciASLs I've been using ACPI 5.0 and got the following errors: ERRORS 11851, 6126, syntax error, unexpected '}' 21545, 6126, syntax error, unexpected $end and premature End-Of-File RehabMan's laptop patch repository does not have fixes for these patches, and I've tried messing about with the lines and stuff but I have little DSDT editing experience and really didn't know what I was doing. No patches have been applied to the files provided. If I could be told how to fix these issues, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. DSDT.zip
  7. Hello friends. Today I installed OS X Yosemite on my Dell Insprion 15 5000 laptop and of the laundry list of problems I encountered, the first one I decided to tackle was accelerating the graphics. The Intel HD 6000 is on a Brodwell CPU, which I know Yosemite supported since 10.10.3. I attempted using RehabMan's config.plist for Clover that was for the HD 6000 on his repository, but I gave me a kernel panic that had to do with AppleIntel???GraphicsFramebuffer (the kernel panic went away too quickly for me to take a photo, so I took a slo-mo video and it was fuzzy). So in RehabMan's config.plist, I disabled "Inject Intel" to get Yosemite on the machine. So my question is, how would I get the graphics to accelerate? As far as DSDT editing goes, I'd love to do it, but the lack of explanation in any guide I've seen leaves me baffled on what to do. I looked at this guide here. If someone could explain what to do (and possibly why I'm doing it) that would be greatly appreciated. If anyone needs any more detail than what I have provided, simply ask. Thanks again!   12. Hello. The whole kernel panic is cut off a little bit, but I know for sure that it has to do with your Ethernet/WiFi card. The cause of your panics are the AppleIGB.kext, which a quick Google will tell you has to do with Ethernet/WiFi. Could you please provide us with what card you are using specifically (or if it's on the motherboard)? Thanks.
  13. Hello. I just got my hackintosh working perfectly, but (there's always a but) no sound. In the past I've used VoodooHDA, which I know isn't great, but works fine for me. However when I installed it this time around, nothing happened. I've looked at guides by toleda and I got extremely confused, but I tried to make the most of it. But nothing I do can get this audio to work correctly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And if you need any more information, just ask.

  15. Okay, I FINALLY got to the install screen by using Clover configurator to disable the "Inject Intel". It shows OS X utilities. Since Safari was one of them I decided to write this fron the computer. However this is my second time booting, it froze at one minute left.
