  1. It does not help. BTW, ioreg contains the right EDID without injection: $ ioreg -l | grep IODisplayEDID | | | | "IODisplayEDID" = <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>
  2. Hi, I have an issue with my new 40" UHD LG TV (40UF695V) that I want to use with my Yosemite. My hardware is a Gigabyte Z97x-ud3h-bk motherboard with a i7-4790K cpu. And I want to use my integrated graphics HD4600. I don't want to buy a dedicated one while I don't use any 3D application or game. The problem is the OS X does not allow to select the max resolution (3840 x 2160). I tested this resolution with Ubuntu live USB stick and the TV work perfectly with my HDMI cable at 4K@24Hz. The TV max Hz is 60 but my HD4600 has a 24Hz limitation. This 24Hz would be perfect for me (I try it out in Ubuntu), but I think OS X block this setting somewhere. How can I unlock this setting and select the max resolution? (Edit some files, patch some kexts, clover setting, etc.) Thanks in advance.
  3. Hi all, I tried to install Mavericks on my laptop. Everything works fine except 3D acceleration. I install my laptop according to the following installation guide, because my laptop has the same configuration: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293109-guide-dell-l421x-xps-14-late-2012-os-x-mavericks-109-installation/ If I install 10.9.0 everything fine. But if I install 10.9.5 there is no 3D acceleration. Do I need to patch the newer kexts? (AppleGraphicsPowerManger, AppleIntelFramebufferCapri) I use both installation the kexts from the XPS 14 install guide. I hope somebody can tell me a good start point how I can solve this issue.
