  1. Hi all, I have 5 disks including four SSDS and a 4TB HDD configured in a CoreStorage (Fusion drive) volume. I have Filevault enabled also. When I turn on my hackintosh, I am presented with the Filevault screen to select my user, enter my password and continue to decrypt and boot macOS. This works around 80% of the time with no issues at all. Sometimes with seemingly no identifiable pattern, after I enter my password it just hangs on the Filevault screen with the loading bar and does not progress. There is no disk activity either. After a while of the hanging, it will just display the prohibitory sign against a black background. I have to force shut the hackintosh off with the power button and try to boot again. Usually after I do this, it will boot the second time. I'm currently running Sierra 10.12.6 but this has also happened when I tried 10.13 too. Clover is fully up to date as of today (r4380). Does anyone know why this might occur? The only thing I have picked up on is the drives change disk identifiers and move themselves around (eg. /dev/disk1) during different boot ups so maybe it's getting confused when trying to decrypt and boot as a corestorage volume. I have no idea how to prevent this from happening either. Any help or suggestion would really be appreciated. My specs are: Motherboard: GA-Z97X-UD7 TH RAM: 16GB Corsair 1866MHZ Memory GFX: 2x Nvidia GTX 760 CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4GHZ
  2. I have a problem with Airdrop in 10.11.3 I have the Broadcom BCM94360CD in my hack (which I believe is the card used in the official iMac) and everything works except my iOS devices just will not see the computer in Airdrop. It worked previously for me in 10.11.1 and I think 10.11.2. I have Airdrop set to "everyone" in Finder, I've tried toggling and restarting both devices, I've tried removing plists related to bluetooth then restarting. I've tried restoring iOS fresh. Nothing works. Airdrop from my iOS device finds real macs just fine. Airdrop Hackintosh to Hackintosh/Real Mac works fine. It's just the iOS devices won't see the Hack and vise versa. Running iOS 9.2.1 So what did Apple change here?! What else can I try? Airdrop and handoff says its supported in system report and the card is working normally for Wifi but Airdrop just seems to be an issue with Hackintosh now.
  3. Hi everyone, I have a GA-Z97X-UD7 TH. My El Capitan hackintosh upgrade went fine. 10.11 works with no issues. When I update it to 10.11.1, my USB3 ports stop working. Devices don't initialise. I have been checking out this guide: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/308325-guide-1011-full-speed-usb-series-89-keeping-vanilla-sle/ I applied Pjlams GA-Z97X-UD7 TH patch and also renamed the USB devices in my DSDT as per the above mentioned guide. I want to see if this resolves my USB 3 issues with 10.11.1 but when I try to compile my DSDT, I get one compilation error. I receive "Syntax error, unexpected PARSEOP_ZERO" Screenshot and disassembled file attached. If anyone can suggest how to get past this, that would be great. Also, does 10.11.1 need any injection? Or should these changes to my DSDT resolve USB 3 not working in 10.11.1? Any specific clover flags I need to have along with these DSDT edits? Thanks for any help in advance. DSDT.zip
