  1. Hey guys! I just bought my Gateway FX laptop. Amazing computer. Anyways, here is my issue and I can't seem to work it out. I use iDeneb V1.4. It installs On both VM and Native but neither boot into the OS. On native, I get a UUID error, but I think thats because of my graphics card (9800M GTS, G94 core, no drivers). It booted once but other than that, nothing. In VMware it installs but restarts when I get to the grey apple logo. I've tried every option, one cpu, no networking, blah blah. I just want to use garageband to make music, I got rid of my mac a little bit ago. Anyways, any ideas/solutions/good threads to read? I've been searching for about 2 days for a possible solution, trying not to post for help if I didn't have too. Thanks!

  5. First of all, specs: Intel Pentium 4 3.0E 478 ATI Radeon 9800 PRO P4P800 SE 1GB Ram The HLC list says that the ADI AD1985 works nativly with the P4P800 SE yet my iTunes won't work and I can't hear any sounds, what gives?
  6. Im looking for a laptop, and I have been running OSX86 on my PC for a while now and I lOVE MAC but HATE their prices, even for the ibook G4's. so I was wondering if there was a good, very cheat alternative laptop that works very good with OSX86. I have looked on the HCL, but all is very confusing.
  7. Triple Boot Problem!

    Will Try That
  8. Hi There. I did a little search for your T42 laptop and I conclude that you have a Radeon 7500? If I am right, you can boot in safe mode (-x) and log in. Once your in open the terminal and type in these things- sudo -s cd /system/library/extensions rm -r ATI* rm -r appletpmacpi.kext Once your done exit terminal and restart computer and see if it doesn't do that anymore, I have a radeon card and that fixed it right up. P.S you are going to want to put in that * after ati (no space) But Yes I did use the Generic.tiger.iso and im up and running, but I don't have sound that is SAID to be supported in the HCL....
  9. Triple Boot Problem!

Am I going about pathing to windows all wrong? DO I need a different code in its place?
