  1. Modified boot-132 Bootloader

Has anyone with the Aluminum Apple keyboard had any issues with pressing enter to boot? I sure am, but I'm wondering if something can be added to the config file that after 30 seconds, it goes into the default 80 HD. Hmmm...
  2. Modified boot-132 Bootloader

@Newmacky I notice we have very similar hardware...except I have an 8600GT instead of an 8800GT. Do you notice any slowdowns at all with your card/system? I'm noticing a few with mine, and I'm wondering if it's because of the 8600GT or not. If it's not related to the video card, I'd rather now spend the $150 on one
  3. Modified boot-132 Bootloader

Ok, I cannot get sound working at all...I have tried getting the linux dump, and entering it. But nothing works I had sound, but now it's gone and I can't get it back. I have ACL888 audio, and right now I'm out of ideas. Might have to go for USB headphones if I can't get this working
  4. Modified boot-132 Bootloader

Ugh, how did I lose sounds *again*?!?! Nothing changed, and I've rebooted quite a few times and came back with sound. Now, there's no sound. I tried the same thing I did prior, didn't work. Now nothing I'm trying is working...Dangit, I just want to get sound back
  5. Modified boot-132 Bootloader

nvkush should work for the 8800GTX...unless I'm wrong of course.
  6. First off, thanks for the great reply . Secondly, I'm using GUID, as if I try MBR, it gives me an error every time. I'm thinking this is why I'm having so many problems hwere. I'm not quite sure why I get the error that it can't format :\ I did install Chameleon, but that still didn't work. I intially used the "Vanilla" kernel, and it booted up just fine so I figured my system was able to use the vanilla kernel. The DFE iso image is the first iso image correct?
  7. Hmnm, no matter what I do, I cannot get this to work at all. If I have SATA to IDE, the CDBoot says "Bad Checksum". If I put it on AHCI, it boots, however, does not allow me to boot my DVD, only hard drives. So I tried the USB method. Following the instructions, syslinux -ma I: (my drive letter) did nothing (ie I didn't see anything done), so I have no idea if that worked. I copied the files to the key, rebooted, set it as the boot drive...only to get "Boot Error". Nothing I have tried works. I have even tried my own iso, but doesn't work at all. I don't have any IDE drives at all, only SATA (including the DVD drive). My system includes: C2Q 9300 Intel DG33BU mobo Seagate 750 SATA II Pioneer SATA DVD-RW GeForce 8600GT Realtek R1000 based NIC I'm out of ideas *shrug* I currently have Kalyway 10.5.2 installed, and everything is working just fine. I cannot update at all, I don't think I can install PC_EFI properly, I can't boot without the DVD, and the "Retail" install doesn't work either. If I wanted to, I'd have a perfect system with just the Kalyway version installed, but I can't update, and need the DVD to boot. I've wasted quite a bit of time on this and it's getting quite frustrating
  8. Leopard and 8800gt...SLI Support?

    Simple answer...no it doesn't.
  9. CPUS=1 Fix coming?

Q9300 here, and I don't have to use that flag. Everything works just fine.
  10. MicroATX mobos

My Intel DG33BU works 100% expect LAN (I bought a PCI card instead), and I couldn't be happier.
