Working for you hey? I just upgraded to 10.12.5 and latest webdriver, but still get black/standby displays after OS load when I have my Displayport and HDMI displays both plugged in on boot...

Don't use sleep on my system so I'm not sure. I'll give this a shot but I have a feeling this will be it. I lose signal to both displays when I plug in the second display (TV), and sometimes I don't, so I bet this is the deciding factor. Certainly an odd issue.

I believe I am having the same issue on an Asus X99 deluxe with EVGA 1080ti Founders Edition. Not using SSDT or DSDT, but have used RampageDev's nvidia SSDT with the same result. Sometimes I won't see POST or OSX loading screen until desktop, and at other times I won't see anything at all. A combination of resets and trying different DP outputs on the card and plugging in/unplugging my second HDMI display get me back... somewhat confusing at this point.
  4. You got it working on your 8-core eh? Man, I'd love Yosemite and my Thunderbolt Dual EXII card to work on my x99 Deluxe / 5960k machine. If anyone has a step-by-step I'd love to hear it. Right now I'm on 10.9.5 and Thunderbolt is no workie. When I enable it I get a message on boot that there are problems to do with com.apple.iokit.IOAHCIFamily and com.apple.iokit.IOPCIfamily.
  5. I am having exactly the same issue on an Asus X99 Deluxe w/5960. I'd appreciate info as well!
  6. Hi, I am using the latest build of Clover with 10.9.5 on an Asus X99 Deluxe board. I've installed GenericUSBXHCI.kext 1.2.7 because I was told it was necessary for Fusion to load my Windows virtual machine. Without it, Windows would never finish booting - something about a very high number of interrupts, I believe. However, with that kext installed, my USB audio interface (a Scarlett 2i2 which uses Coreaudio) loses audio output. iTunes or any audio application will still be 'playing,' but the audio will simply cut out. To fix it I have to unplug the audio interface and plug it back in again, at which point the issue will occur again, seemingly random. I've looked through the Console output but there's nothing that would point to the issue. If I remove the kext, I have full USB3.0 speeds, but then of course I can't launch my virtual machine. Any help? I have some USB options in the BIOS, but I'm not sure if any of them would be helpful.
  7. Aha - I heard about needing to use genericusbxhci, but missed the install note for 10.9. Working now - thanks a lot. Continuing to test nic's.
  8. Hey all, Ended up downgrading to 10.9.5 to get my X99 Deluxe / 5960X machine working well. Two questions that I'm wondering if anyone has insight on. I'm running the latest AppleIntelE1000e.kext (3.1.0). When I do, I seem to get KP's with both NIC's enabled in the BIOS. I've turned the second one off, but even then, sometimes the NIC will lose connection. Any tips here? Also, VMware Fusion 6 loads my Windows 7 VM verrrrry slowly. What might be going on?
  9. Aha. I didn't have the CPU sensor plugin in FakeSMC installed. Now we're good! Thanks.
  10. Hi all, Any app or tool we can use to get CPU temps and/or frequency listed accurately in OSX on X99? I realize this may be impossible because of the lack of OSX x99 support, but thought I'd ask in case those two issues are not tied together. Thanks.
