  1. Permanently Banned From Tonymacx86

i don't remember ever even registering with them and just took a look to see what that site was about and it says i am permanently banned. WTF? I NEVER EVEN REGISTERED THERE, as far as i remember anyway, might have drunk, who knows. (Update) i did register there. i asked for guidance on amdfx and stuttering on 10.9.3. they perm ban me for that. oh well, its for the best, apparently.
  2. soooooo............ how did things work out for you? oh well, you have probably given up eh? are those sapphires discontinued? and i may have mis-understood your post, do you mean 2 of them or you got the 2gb version? you should not worry about the dual-bios, you would never utilize it unless you core gamer.
  3. you need to set your target drive.(your installing along windows?) boot your niresh installer, go to terminal, type: sudo dd if=/usr/standalone/i386/boot1h of=/dev/disk0s2 (or whatever disk the os is on, In Disk Utility find the Disk Identifier, it is most likely what i told you to type.) enter your password. reboot. there is lots of info on this error..... pull all your drives accept target and re-install, probably be simpler for you. yank one of those video cards to(for now). (its only 22 minutes for a re-install, for me) i use a separate ssd for osx. (i only say start over because you going to need a mbr patch if your windows is not guid. you probably can't boot windows anymore since you changed sata to achi (just go back to sata to boot back to windows)) set bios to achi and leave it (should be default anyway, come on gigabyte!, its just better.). reinstall os x first then reinstall windows beside it in that order. you don't need both handoffs (I got both on but i notice no problem leaving handoffs alone.), just the first, thats on by default. your mb probably has "Secure Boot", that need turn off for achi.
  4. use kernel flag(Switch) amd64 GraphicsEnabler=Yes -f -c you do this by pressing any key when you see the niresh chameleon drive select. when you get to options just type out what i typed above and hit enter. once you have done your mac setup you going to need to edit your boot.chameleon.plist with chameleon wizard and add these flags(without the -f(ignore caches) and -v(verbose)) permanent so you don't have to type them on every boot. (if GraphicsEnabler=Yes don't work replace Yes With No and also add additional IGPEnabler=Yes) also you should boot niresh first time in safe mode, -x PCIRootUID=0 maybe but likely 1. i think you should pull out one of those sapphires for now.
  5. Stuttering

ok got the disk one figured. go to root open volumes delete offenders. (can't believe i forgot something so simple, its been a few years, hehe.) those plists above are now irrelevant, i have changed much since then.
  6. Stuttering

i also have a phantom disk listed in kext util when i choose repair permissions. i choose destination disk and it list a disk that does not exist. how can i remove this phantom disk? thanks.
  7. Stuttering

i am on 10.9.0 and am trying to update to 10.9.3. i used niresh amd mavericks for install with amdfx flag and all is good. once installed i clean niresh {censored} and install latest chameleon and edit my plists. i end up with very good instal. now when i update(tried 10.9.3 full thats useless it boot but stutter) to 10.9.3 it is good but hdd is always active and no prig will open and everything is just very slow and stuuttery. what have i done wrong? please help. amdfx 8150 nvidia gtx660ti gigabyte md rev4 ga-970a-d3 16gbmem 120gbssd 2tbsata hdd 1tb hddsata thankyou for any help. i have updated to 10.9.1 from download, that went well, no replacement of anything. i then have updated 10.9.1 to 10.9.2 from download and it wiped out kernel, np, replace kernel and the two kexts that came with it, reboot, perfect. then try to do the app store update or download and both wipe out kernel, np, replace and replace the three kexts that came with it. reboot and is fine all seems well, then STUTTERING. i have made vanilla install of 10.9.3 installed fine, booted fine, STUTTERING. one last point, i have backed up my entire kext folder and i just copy paste that to the install(from my working 10.9.0) and repair perms. this post edited by me to add the last bit of info to help you help me. hehe, that censored word is "C R A P" funny that censored. i have never been able to log into iCloud.
