  1. Problem with iDeneb 10.5.5 on Gateway P-7811FX

Well with that attitude why would someone help you? Sometimes there is no solution to a problem, or a driver hasn't been released. It's not as simple as everything being already out there. It's either get some patience or learn how to write your own drivers. We aren't here to serve you, if we have a solution we'll help, but other than that, some common decency goes a long way. Now, getting to the part I actually kind of help you... The processor and mobo should be supported. So platform wise you're fine. For sound, it doesn't like there is any support yet, nor is there support for the wireless (I have the same card, there definetly isn't a driver yet.) As for the keyboard, during installation you may want to see if there is an alternative acpi kext in there, as it solved my problem on a laptop I used to have. Now graphics card on the otherhand is a doozy. My suggestion is on these forums, get your hands on Aquamac's 9xxx series installer, as well as the NVDarwin 1.2.5 installer. Those worked out great for me, after I had a whole lot of problems with getting QE/CI to work through using EFI Strings. I used those and they solved my problems. On a side note, I'm not much fond of Kalyway. My suggestion is to get your hands on a more up to date distro, iDeneb is my preference at the current moment. Also, if you're having problems booting, make sure you start with -v and -x, to go into safe mode and install the video drivers, otherwise it might hang.
  2. NVIDIA 9 Series Driver Installer v2

Jeez aqua did I manage to stump ya?
  3. HELP! Mobile Nvidia geForce 9600m GS

I have the same card mate. No luck so far, but I have gotten resolution to work correctly. Can't get any QE/CI yet.
  4. Intel WiFi Link 5100

No need to be so rude, it just makes you seem like an ass. And for the original topic starter, nothing yet, but the link above gives you the beta drivers that are being worked on, no support yet though. I have the same card, hope something comes out
  5. Wifi Link 5100 or Marvel 88E8055

I'm on an Asus x83v, I have the intel 5100 wifi card as well. There aren't any solutions currently, The highest in the intel link card's are being worked on in this thread: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=84072 Unfortunately, we're both in the same boat. Just hope for someone to develop something.

  7. NVIDIA 9 Series Driver Installer v2

Yessir I did. First I did a fresh install (For good measure.) Then I did the Graphics strings, and then did your installer. Afterwards, I deleted the mkext, reset permissions, rebooted with -f -x and I still have no QE/CI for some reason. Any ideas?
  8. NVIDIA 9 Series Driver Installer v2

Hey Aquamac, having a little bit of issues here. I installed the graphics strings for my 9600m gs with 1gb of ram, which solved most of my issues (booting without safe mode, correct resolution, etc.) but still nothing on the QE / CI Any suggestions? I'm on an Asus x83v machine, will post specs if necessary.
  9. Nvidia 6100 go drivers

Well the driver works, but now the problem that I am having is my screen is flickering and I can't change the resolutions still. Is there any way to change this?
  10. Nvidia 6100 go drivers

Wait, 1.0.7 DOES work on 6100 go?
  11. I have a Gateway MX3417 laptop with an Nvidia 6100 go card. Well I've been attempting every option there is for nvidia cards, but nothing seems to work, macvidia, titan, natit, none of them work, in fact all of them produce a kernel panic. So I guess the question I am asking is do any of you know any tricks to get this card working?
  12. Hey guys, this is my first post (and I have already installed OSX86 10.4.8 on my Gateway MX3417, runs great!) My processor is an AMD Turion 64 Mobile MK-36 processor I have a few problems, which are outlined here: A.) No sound support (sigmatel audio ) B.) I can't change resolutions/no graphics acceleration (Nvidia 6100 go) C.) No networking (but from what I read it's a rather common problem.) So can you guys help me out get what I need
