  1. I installed the UPDD driver from their web site (only for the touch). Their driver has the option to disable any device (in this case, the touch). The driver you download has a time limit. to overcome the limit, I changed the system time to something like 100years from now, installed the driver, and reset the time to correct value. The driver also has 100 click limit, but as long as you disable the device, there are no clicks.
  2. My main use of the 700T is to write lecture notes. Since I could not get palm detection, I have to disable the touch when I am using the pen. This is the main reason why I install the touch-base driver: It allows me to disable the touch. Is there a way to disable the touch without using the touch-base driver? I have also written some simple code to detect the pen proximity. If I can disable the touch through some commands, I might be able to simulate some sort of palm rejection (by disabling the touch when the pen is in proximity)
  3. I had the same problem about not sleeping after the first cycle. I solved the issue by a DSDT edit. I added Name (_PRW, Package (0x02) { 0x1E, 0x04 }) in H_EC after Name (_HID, EisaId ("PNP0C09")) Name (_UID, One) now, it sleeps properly every time.

I managed to get both the pen and usb-3 working. I removed AppleUSBXHCI.kext from inside the IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/Plugins. then installed GeneriUSBXHCI.kext from yosemite from the site http://sourceforge.net/projects/genericusbxhci/files/ now I have both high speed usb (from what i see in the system profiler) and also the pen is working. I don't have any palm rejection. I mainly use my mackintosh to take notes. so i installed touchbase driver and disabled the touch. the only problem that i seem to have is a weird one: normally sleep works fine. but if i remove the keyboard, or attach it, the sleep sometimes work (after a long time) sometimes never work. when i try to put my mackintosh into sleep, it immediately wakes. does anybody have a similar problem?

I managed to get both the pen and the touch working. you have to disable USB 3.0 support to get both of them. Delete GenericUSBXHCI.kext (if you have installed it) and AppleUSBXHCI.kext from the folder /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ (better if you move them to some other folder in case you might need them later), rebuild kernel cache and reboot.

i first installed Yosemite public beta to an external harddisc. then i cloned the installation to a partition on the SSD using SuperDuper. strangely, i only have the touch but not the pen. the pen seems to be detected by the os as the Ink preference pane is visible in the system preferences. but the pen does not do anything.
