  1. To flip360 i see you use asus I'm gigabyte owner... I'm just curious what do you guys use thats equivalent to the KAKEWALK installer that includes all stuff i need... I'm gonna be trying to flip a HP laptop but have to replace the DC outlet adapter on the motherboard before i can proceed... just got the part in the mail...
  2. 1.Yes but a full conference on just the iPad 3 and a few sprinkles of iOS apps here and there seemed a little overboard they should of put this much effort in the Newton when it came out. 2.Since they dropped the Computers from there name and Mac from about this mac. I think the goal in the company is to combine the iOS and OSX in all there products will we see Siri in the MacBooks and iMacs or better yet bundled into OSX? 3.Since they are trying make everything work hand in hand. Can I use Siri in Logic Pro? Well that isn't to far fetched since they want us to do everything so easy! 4.Siri find me new income so i can afford all these new great products with the least amount of effort!!!!! 5.OSX for all PC & MAC. 6.My iPad 1 is still working lovely no complaints or need to upgrade just yet.
  3. I thought all Gigabyte MB's use the texas instruments chip for there firewire chips EP45 DS3R has T.I. TSB43AB23... so GB dropped them on there new boards? will run over to there site to check. T.I. TSB43AB23 chip same chip here good to know
  4. Hey Mike 1.Try the 10.8 installer mounted and choose the new partition, as to see if it can install to that new partition. It seems you have a multi boot HD is that what your trying to do? Or you gonna use a separate Hard Drive for 10.8? 2.Try BeSweets method also if the 10.8 DMG says it can install on this machine... if BeSweets works which it might cause it did on mine. 3.Then Try to run Kakewalk 4.1.1 upgrade Installation option.. after you have completed the BeSweet method but do not go into the new system just yet. 4.After that run the Chameleon_2.1svn_r1820_trunk_10.8 but don't chose any Smbios option: because Kakewalk 4.1.1 will have that ready for you. 5.Use Pacifist 3.0 to help you install all your Kext right click on the Kext and choose the new 10.8 system with admin privileges . after all is done. 6.Open you disk Utilities and repair permissions on your new 10.8 7.Now try to log into the new 10.8 system so you can get to the setup screen. i know this is off topic but we have the same board either way it will and you can install 10.8 i used the real mac method because i use real macs but i wanted to try my method to see if the installation will differ gladly to say 10.8 runs very good on EP-45 DS3R with this method all my outboard is working fine on it... just remember this is still a alpha release and the beta i think is out already.... in verbose mode i still see things 10.8 that needs to fixed as like the USB device numbers popping up as zeros. Hint: Just don't rush the process what ever you do because your in multi boot mode
  5. This is what i did... i didn't alter the dmg image i installed it on a usb stick.. then option started my MBP then chose then chose the Mt Lion HD which was connected to a USB Hub.... did the install... now this is where i think we differ i think you guys use asus boards... mine is a Gygabyte i used the Kakewalk4.1.1 just to prep it..... not to make it a installer. if you need to install Kext use pacifist with admin rights. then did permission fix used then i used the Chamelion trunk just dont choose anything leave it as be.... hopefully you guys can get to a real mac machine... i think your DSDT is essential .... This is still a Alpha state release but i must admit this one had some good performance already out it.... i think Mt Lion will be the turning point of change of the past Mac OSX releases they actually dropped the mac when you do a about this mac,, Sgt....?3 minutes is a bit long hopefuly some ASUS user will correct that problem for you... Good Luck post what you have done so far.
  6. Which install method did you use... and whats do you have working on your system? very interested in knowing... hope to hear from you. justgeeking

  8. Mac OSX don't boot

is this your motherboard http://downloadmirror.intel.com/19487/eng/DH67BL_ProductGuide01_English.pdf gonna check the specs what was your kernal panic and do you have a working a system on that computer so you can fix the problems i checked the 0Sx86 project HCL yours wasnt on there your board has nice features to did you make a DSDT file? if you got to the point you that you installed the system and after the update it panics i think you have to do a little more reading on it,,,, i think it might be something your over looking... repair your permissions also after the update from your OSX DVD
  9. GA-EP45DS3R Up and running!

Do you get the USB detection @ all 000000 for device id;s when you start up in -v let me know how that worked out for you.... what type of install method did you use... thanks for for uploading....
  10. Posting Working Apps

    Plugins working for audio
  11. Gigabyte 5670... Lack of QE/CI.

i used a real intel mac to make it work i did the USB method but just did exact replica of the THE ESD DMG run the Kakewalk 4.1.1 to prep your HD 10.8 on your GB rig.. your video card is compatible http://www.kakewalk.se/compatibility/ to make it boot i used this one below just for the boot loading i used the Chameleon_2.1svn_r1820_trunk_10.8 dont choose anything not even the smbios then repair your permissions. Use pacifist to install Kext for some reason it worked better for me...
