  1. Hey guys, im still having problems with my dsdt (using generic 5 plus speedstep) Firewire looks like working but an attached hard disk don't work. Works perfect in a hackintosh without dsdt. Bluetooth dongle isnt working, works perfect in a hackintosh without dsdt Thanks in advance
  2. Hi man can you post your dsdt so Blackosx can compare it with mine in the firewire relevant part, cause i have the same firewire card and doesnt works correctly (in any slot blackosx). im using the last generic dsdst you posted Blackosx with only changes in speedstep for my Q9500 BTW i still have high temperatures (idle at 52) thanks in advance
  3. Thanks for the follow up, first i will try MM67, idea of changing the firewire card to another pcie slot, and answering your questions Blackosx, this firewire card worked great with 10.5.8, i have been using your dsdt since the start of 10.6 and the firewire card never worked in snow correctly. i mean v3 of the DSDT returns C9C2. Thanks!
  4. Great! So i will use my own DSDT (from my DS3L) in the UD3L, perfect, because is the same CPU. Ok the firewire device wich i plug is an external HD, and after a few seconds everything hangs but the computer still ping back from the network, so its not hanged up, just look like the usbs are out of work..., if i unplug the mouse and plug it back, it doesn't receive power. (the lights don't start up again) Respect to the V4, i tested my computer with V3 and it gives back C9C2 Thanks for your great help guys
  5. My UD3L is using a very basic DSDT, VERY basic, without speed step, is just a basic one, do you have something special in your dsdt ?, i mean some kind of special hardware.
  6. Thanks for your help, that did work Thanks MM67, but can't i use your dsml directly with my UD3l ?
  7. Hi Blackosx, after reading the 4 pdf, and implementing it, i have correct icons now for my hard disks, everything look cool, my firewire card now looks good on the system profiler and can recognize a hard disk when i plug it, BUT it doesn't show in finder and after some time my computer hangs, really no the hack just the USB ports, is there something wrong with the dsml with firewire enabled? BTW Blackosx, im using you latests DSML, " GA_EP45_DS3L_DSDT_with_Power_Fix___v3.zip " modified with my cpu details as recommended by mm6. I followed your recomendations and implemented the smbios.plist with the correct speed of my procesor and FSB, i put this: <key>SMexternalclock</key> <string>333</string> <key>SMfamily</key> <string>mac</string> <key>SMmanufacter</key> <string>Apple Inc.</string> <key>SMmaximalclock</key> <string>2833</string> note the SMexternalcock its supposed to be the FSB so iput there the FSB of my q9550, i am ok with that? BTW my system now says 2.83 ghz, so this is the solution for the 2.67 ghz in about this mac. MM67 please can you post your full dsml , i have a GA-EP45UD3L with another Q9550 and will love to use your DSML if its possible. Thanks
  8. Ok i implemented mm67 cpu scope with Blackosx dsdt with included firewire, everything looks ok BUT the hard disk icons are now YELLOW those are my kext in chamaleon: Disabler (for my g9800 GT) EvOreboot fakesmc (2.5) LegacyHDA PlatformUUID SleepEnabler Vodoomonitor (BTW this one never installs i don tknow why, i can't monitor my speedstep, i just feel it for the temperature and the cpu fan working) Im using lates netkast PCEFI 10.5 this is the resulting dsdt dsdt.aml.zip
  9. Hi, can you post your DSDT? i have the same processor and i would love to see your speedstep configuration, my mainboard is a Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L should my dsdt be different from yours?
  10. Great Blackosx, thanks for your help Look using the dsdml with firewire that you just have sent me, and adding my speedstep values, is this correct please? 11. Hi Blackosx I have been following your guides since 10.5.8 with EXTREME sucess in more than one computer, i would say my hackintosh has never feel so "retail" , lol i want to ask you 3 questions 1. : its in my understatement that you don't use/have firewire card or devices, but i need them, and they are not working with your DSML, have you erased some part of the dsml so they dont woork? how do i enable it back?, i am using a PCI -E fw800 card wich is mac compatible and have worked in the past with 10.5.8 and 10.6.1 with a very basic modified dsml. 2. : My system has a Q9550 which means a Quad core 2.83 ghz, but about my mac says 2.66 ghz 3. : My system temp is getting to 85 Celsius (186.8 F) when its heavily taxed, i think its too much maybe is some problem in my dsml? here is my dsml, please give me a hand Thanks in advance dsdt.aml.zip
