  1. So what was wrong with your ssdt? Maybe your solution could help us fix ours, too.
  2. I didn't know that, thanks for the info. Well then, I guess this is as good as it gets.
  3. Great find! It actually works, I just have to have the AirDrop icon selected in the Finder sidebar for both computers for them to show up. Once I did that, they became visible and I could transfer files with no problems. It would be great if the nearby computers would be visible by default...
  4. Launchpad-Control

So, you mean that every time and for whatever reason we NEED to boot with an -f flag, the changes we make in Launchpad-Control will be basically lost and we'd have to start over again? If so, that kinda dulls my enthusiasm for this app.
  5. Launchpad-Control

That's my problem as well, I don't understand how it could be working for everyone else...
  6. Launchpad-Control

Great app idea, but: does it work flawlessly for everyone? On my computer, the files I hide with Launchpad-Control reappear after a reboot. I see no one mentioned this, so I'm curious if no one else encountered this behaviour.
  7. Why does FaceTime work with Chameleon 755?

    Yes, iCloud working as well.
  8. FaceTime is fixed. The problem for hackintoshes is somewhere in the chameleon bootloader. Use chameleon build 755 and you will see that FaceTime will activate and operate normally. Then you can replace chameleon with newer versions, FaceTime will continue to work. But if you happen to deactivate it, you have to go back to build 755 to make it work again. See more details here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...61423&st=20
  9. Lion GM Facetime error

So the bottomline is that in order to get FaceTime to work, you need to have the ethernet fix in your DSDT (by checking mine, I saw that the fix was in there, so the EthernetBuiltIn fix was redundant and unnecessary) and to use Chameleon build 775 to activate it. But still, the problem remains that one must figure out why later builds conflict with FaceTime (it's rather silly to keep a copy of build 775 around just in case you turn FaceTime off by mistake...)
  10. Lion GM Facetime error

Well, that's a bummer, I think it's best to wait for some users to maybe try this solution and see if they have any success.
  11. Lion GM Facetime error

If you mean the settings inside com.apple.boot, this is what I use: <key>Boot Graphics</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string></string> <key>UseKernelCache</key> <string>No</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>No</string> <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1920x1080x32</string> <key>Theme</key> <string>Bullet</string> <key>GUI</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Boot Banner</key> <string>No</string> <key>Legacy Logo</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>EthernetBuiltIn</key> <string>Yes</string> Do you use an ATI 6870? If so, why don't you specify in your DSDT which framebuffer to use and thus get rid of the GraphicsEnabler=Yes flag? I use Duckweed as framebuffer (for that, your monitor must have a DVI connection, or an active DVI to VGA adaptor). I'm not sure about the EthernetBuiltIn flag, I don't think it matters in this case, but will test without it and let you know.

Are you sure you tried build 755? Build 760 that stellarola suggested didn't work for me either. But build 755 did: http://www.kexts.com/view/1154-chameleon_2...755_+_lion.html
  13. Lion GM Facetime error

For the record, I was previously using Chameleon RC5 build 759. That build doesn't play nice with FaceTime either.
  14. Lion GM Facetime error

Well, what do you know... Your solution works! But for me, with a difference, build 760 didn't work. However, in my case, FaceTime Works with Chameleon RC5 build 755. Which begs the question: what's the difference between these two builds? Do newer builds work or not? In any case, thank you to stellarola for clearing up this one, I had tried all the solutions out there and nothing had worked.
  15. SwitchSound Script

Any progress towards reaching 2.1 version? It would be nice to be able to switch between multiple sources.
