  1. Thank you soo much for making this! This had to be the easiest and most trouble free installation of osx86 I have ever completed. Running ex58-ud5 flawlessly. Everything working! I made a usb installation and its a cinch. Thanks again!
  2. ATi Radeon HD4870X2 on Snow Leopard 10.6.2

I would also know if 4850x2 is working? Are any dual chip gpus working by ATI?
  3. Cool, hope it works as written! This will decide whether or not I get the 5850 now or just get a 4890 to hold me over till 5850 is working or fermi is released and working.
  4. Hi, I was wondering if my situation would work? I will be getting a HD 5850 and a osx compatible nvidia card. I plan to put the 5850 in slot 1 and the nvidia card in slot 2. The motherboard I will have is gigabyte x58-ud5. This should work by only switching the bios to use peg2 when using osx86 right? Fully working QE/CI and resolutions is needed for the nvidia card. I really hope this works, as it would be a hassle switching the card slots everytime i switch os. Also I want to make sure that my motherboard even has the option to use peg2 as initial display? Thanks for the help!

    no interest?

  7. well i installed os x86 and everything runs smooth except i can't get audio working and ide drives don't work in os x86. i just threw in a sata drive and that worked. is there an idiots guide to get ALC889A working? well the power supply is 550w and I am only taking up about 425w so I don't think it should be a problem. would it?
  8. Slick hackintosh cases

  9. Thanks! That's what I was hoping to hear I guess doing 2 weeks of pure research is good for something.
  10. Hi there, lurker for a couple of weeks here and thought I would make my first post with what I recently have purchased and am awaiting to recieve in the mail. GIGABYTE GA-P35-S3L Motherboard $70 Crucial Ballistix 2GB DDR2 PC2 6400 Ram $100 XFX GeForce 7900GS 256MB DDR3 $136 Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 (will overclock from 2.66 to 3+ Ghz) $210 Cheapy Case with 500w PSU $40 Spent $556 total which even includes shipping/taxes. And then I'll just use the hard drive and dvd burner I already have. Everything look good so far though? I'll be doing web design and video editing on this badboy. (and maybe some gaming here and there)
