    Sorry for double post, just for posting post install: Kernel panic unless I use -x flag. With -x flag, it boots, but I get no screen (GTX 760). Panic looks to be connected to a free, Panic due to kfreed or something.

  4. You are not giving much info. When does it happen? What options are you using? What options have you tried? Does anything change the behavior? Have you tried the usb stick in another computer to verify it works? memtest?
  5. Yes, there is, but I suspect it isn't really working. It never really goes below 2GHz in intel power gadget. Did you recompile aicpupmi info kext on the computer you are using it?   6. I don't know how to tell if it's actually working as it should, because the intel power gadget rarely shows below 2 GHz.     AppleHDA for ALC898 - 10.9.2

    Works for me, will try it for a couple of days. My previous one had occational buzzing in the output. Needed HDAEnabler1 for my Chameleon install. Running on GA-Z87X-UD3H. Edit: Still having problems with sound cutting out and occasional buzzing.
  8. I had random freezes and crashes with Clover. Now running with Chameleon and patched ssdt for pm with ssdtPRGen. I have the 5 options in Energy Saver, and sleep is working.
  9. Ok, will try! I used HDAEnabler and AppleHDA kexts for sound to work. With only old way HPET and shutdown fix in clover, my computer can't sleep (instant wake up) and then dies (power off) within 1 second of waking up (I can barely see display come on before crash).
  10. I can go to sleep, but my computer dies right after waking up. No info in system.log I only need manual sleep to work

  12. Only tried with -v. Can try -x next. The installer works, but installing OS X from clover boot breaks my computer/BIOS so hard I can't boot anything until I reflash my BIOS xD Never seen anything like it. I am booting installer without caches. I am also using FakeSMC and intel network kexts in the clover/kext/10.9 folder. Hardware is i7 4770k, the GA-z87x-ud3h using Intel graphics. Tried Bios versions F7, F8, F9b Mind you this is install from Clover. Chameleon based installs works just fine, except for sleep mode and C/P states. Edit: Install randomly worked... Edit2: Most seem to be working. Sleep is "working". Computer goes to sleep, but crashes/shutdown happens 2 seconds after waking, a second after display comes back up. Edit3: I am having random shutdowns/reboots happening during normal use.
  13. I can now boot the installer, but nothing actually works, haha. After installation, my whole system is broken, and I can no longer boot the USB key. There is a new also a boot menu entry in the bios boot menu called "Mac OS X", which persists even though I disconnect all my harddrives. A CMOS reset does not fix it. After a BIOS reflash I can boot the USB again, but the install doesn't work.
  14. OH MY GOD THANK YOU. I double checked the USB headers on the board, and my front ones were connected to the a USB header. Switch to the one that said USB 2.0 in the manual and it boots. xD

    GA-Z87X-UD3H sleep wake issue

    I found the USBProber.app in the OS X Developer utils. Sadly, it seems it is my very root USB hub waking my computer up. Not sure how to disable that one. I am not using any of the "manual" pin ports on the motherboard. I am currently trying to get a working clover install, you can see from page 10 here if you are interested: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/290406-success-gigabyte-z87x-ud3h-mavericks-dp2-haswell-hackintosh/ Also, tried out my trusty Arch Linux with EFI boot... No sleep mode working there either, it instantly wakes up like in OS X. Sleep works in both Windows 8 and 8.1 however
