  1. Mac os High sierra installation attempts

Hello, I installed MacOS High Sierra 10.13 Beta on a Lenovo ThinkCentre M58 with HD5450 PCI Graphics Card, Device ID: 0x68E11002, but I cannot get QE/CI working. I try to add the Device ID in the Info.plist of AMDRadeonX3000.kext, that always worked (with El Capitan and Sierra). But when I try it with High Sierra, I don't even get to the login screen, I just get a black screen and a cursor and then it goes in somekind of loop. Will try Kext Utility like suggested here, but I tried several methods, I think it is another issue. Kind regards and happy hackintoshing everyone.
  2. SONY VAIO VPCF12C5E Black screen

I have the Sony VAIO VPCF12S1E with dedicated GT330M and I fixed black screen problem with this information and used that DSDT: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/300715-vaio-users-black-screen-after-boot/page-4 It works for Yosemite, El Capitan and I could even boot the MacOS sierra installer
  3. Need help with gt 330m

I also have the black screen problem if I use injection with clover without DSDT. I have made two different configs. The first without DSDT and blackscreen, and a second config with no qe/ci but working display with DSDT. I also attached 2 separate ioregs and system.log and config.plist files. With the DSDT I have turned off the Nvidia injection in config.plist. I managed to log in to the system via teamviewer with the blackscreen. The Display is not detected, but drivers are loaded. Sony Vaio VPCF12S1E Core i7 1.73Ghz GT330M Vendor: 10de DeviceID: 0a29 VRAM: 1024MB System Memory: 8GB DDR3 133Mhz SMBios: MacBookPro6,2 Sound: Realtek ALC275 OSX Version : Yosemite 10.10.5 I hope someone can figure this out, have been try to figure this problem out for several days now. I do not have an HDMI screen or HDMI to DVI cable at the moment so I cannot test this. Going to try to experiment with NVCAP values now in clover configurator. Kind regards, Damian config1.zip config2.zip
  4. <key>Graphics</key> <dict> <key>FBName</key> <string>Eulemur</string> <key>Inject</key> <dict> <key>ATI</key> <true/> <key>Intel</key> <false/> <key>NVidia</key> <false/> </dict> <key>InjectEDID</key> <true/> <key>LoadVBios</key> <true/> <key>NvidiaSingle</key> <false/> <key>PatchVBios</key> <true/> </dict> It is not working. I tried with and without Patch vbios and also with and without Custom EDID. Any other hints? config2.plist.zip
  5. I believe I did, I tried many framebuffers, I also tried custom EDID and extract the vbios and place in ROM folder in clover. I will test this specific setting as soon as I can with and without custom EDID. Thanks for your reply Arthur
  6. Hi everyone, I have been trying for a while now to install Mac OS X El capitan 10.11.4 on the Sony Vaio VPCEB1M1E with limited succes. I am using Clover (latest version) The biggest problem is no LVDS detected and the notebook has a blackscreen as soon as OS X starts. I have created several config files, and if I disable Inject ATI i can login to the system without QE/CI. Wi-Fi works, AR9285. So I installed teamviewer, reboot, enable ATI config, got blackscreen, but logged in with teamviewer and QE/CI is working. I created an IOREG this way with IORegistryExplorer 2.1 and I have also attached my entire EFI partition, all unpatched ACPI tables are included. I think the problem is wrong connector info. Have tried several different framebuffers, Hoolock, Orangutan, Vervet, all give blackscreen on LVDS. Device ID: 68c1 There are several config files, config4 is the bootconfig I used to make the IOreg. VGA is not working , have not been able to test HDMI (yet). Here is my entire EFI Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ig134fl6pdq193a/Archief.zip?dl=0 I found the following topics about the problem and there only seems to be a chameleon solution: http://yun.baidu.com/share/link?uk=3355666171&shareid=42351891&third=0&adapt=pc&fr=ftw http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/248751-mobility-radeon-hd-5650-qeci-work-262-update/ http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/to...d5000-and-hd4000-series-support-in-chameleon/ http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/to...vds-qeci-1600x900-need-help-with-personality/ I hope someone can solve this. Good hack to you all, Nikita IOREG.zip EDID.txt
  7. Weird Screen on Yosemite 10.10.4 AMD Radeon 7670m

I have the same problem on Asus X77JQ Laptop with radeon HD 5730, dev id 68c0. The problem is not present in Mavericks(only after wake from sleep), but is occuring always in Yosemite and El Capitan.
  8. I always use Paragon Hard Disk Manager 14 to clone stuff, this works from windows and you can also create a bootable USB with the paragon software, based on linux or on windowsPE. I will try to install/upgrade without the ssdt, can someone give me a link to the upgrade guide? I can not try this possible solution immediately because I don't have access to the system at the moment, I will report back. Nikita
  9. Yes I know but that is not the issue here, And yes I know we must enable thunderbolt in windows first, but this is also not the issue. First I want to be able to boot the OS?
  10. CPU: Intel Core i7-5820K / 3.3 GHz - 15 MB cache LGA2011-3 Socket - 6-Core Board: ASUS X99-DELUXE/U3.1 - Moederbord ATX - LGA2011-3 Socket - X99 - USB 3.1 - Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2 x Gigabit LAN Graphics Card: Sapphire Vapor-X R9 290X Tri-X - Grafische kaart Radeon R9 290X - 8 GB GDDR5 - PCI Express 3.0 x16 - HDMI, 2 x DVI, DP Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX - Geheugen 16 GB : 4 x 4 GB - DIMM 288-pins - DDR4 - 2800 MHz / PC4-22400 - CL16 - 1.2 V Extra PCI Cards: ASUS ThunderboltEX II/DUAL - Thunderbolt-adapter PCI Express 2.0 x4 An USB3.1 PCI card that came with the motherboard. It is NOT WORKING with El Capitan, I only have Yosemite running, but bluetooth and thunderbolt are not working in Yosemite. Thunderbolt is not even working in windows 10, we never figured that out. I could not find an OsxAptioFixDrv that works with the 10.11.1/10.11.2 USB installer, I have to use another computer to install it, after that this version of OsxAptioFixDrv works with El Capitan from HDD, but the system will crash at a different point ( see the photo's in post #1) (OsxAptioFixDrv/OsxAptioFixDrv2 from clover r3330 is not working at all I have to use an older version). It would not always crash at the same point, I got on the desktop a few times, but then it crashed again. I have installed El Capitan on a different Asus X99 Deluxe with different configuration, so I suspect it is the memory, the graphics card, or maybe the USB3.1/Thunderbolt PCI or the processor of course. Nikita
  11. Can you help me installing if I have any issues? Is there also a guide in english?
  12. I also have a problem with the latest version of OsxAptioFixDrv, I must use an older version, but it won't work with the El Capitan USB installer, it does work with an El Capitan installed system on HDD???? It is al in this post: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/310017-asus-x99-deluxe-yosemite-succes-el-capitan-no-succes/
  13. Hi Joel. Thank you for your reply. I have not yet installed AppleHDA in El Capitan, because I never got the system stable. I have tried OsxAptioFixDrv-2 without succes, the only version of OsxAptioFixDrv that works for me is in the attached files above. But this version DOES NOT WORK with the USB installer with El Capitan 10.11.1/10.11.2. I had to use my other hackintosh to get trough the install procedure, after installation this version of OsxAptioFixDrv DOES WORK with OSX 10.11.1/10.11.2 but only when it is installed on the HDD. I don't have acces to the system at the moment but I will add the rootless flag and remove kext-dev-mode=1 like you say and also change OSX version in clover options to see if kexts get loaded from clover 10.11 folder . the SSDT is special for this system and comes from the X99 dmg on rampagedev's site. It makes the airport work f.e., I can try to remove the SSDT (temporarily) but I don't think this is the best solution. I wil remove vboxhfs and put hfsplus.efi. For the graphics, I could temporarily remove the graphics drivers and see if this makes any difference or do some tests with Nvidia GT730 I have lying around somewhere which is supported natively in OSX. As soon as I have access to the system I will report back. Merry christmas, Nikita
  14. Hello, A few months ago I have successfully installed Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 on Asus X99 Deluxe with Radeon r290x Graphics card. Yesterday I have successfully updated to Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 without problems, I only had to re-patch AppleHDA after that. I have used rampagedev's guide to make this system work and did not have many problems with the Yosemite installation as I am quite experienced in installing Hackintoshes and I like his method. The only problem I have left bluetooth is not working. Wifi works, 2 ethernet ports functional, ALC1150 works with AppleHDA http://www.rampagedev.com/?page_id=55 If you read everything well on his site you won't have many problems installing the OS, only I found out the version of OsxAptioFixDrv in latest clover revision does not work with this system (r3330), so I had to replace that driver with the old version that was already installed. I have added this other OsxAptioFixDrv because I have added the entire clover folder in this post including my config.plist and UEFI64 folder: the only problem with this OsxAptioFixDrv is that it won't work with the El Capitan USB installer. I have tried 10.11.1 and 10.11.2. I have solved this by using another computer to install the OS and after that replace the HDD in the X99 Deluxe and then it does boot and work with this version of OsxAptioFixDrv, but I ran into other problems, I have been able to boot to the Desktop in El Capitan, but it was very unstable and would randomly crash on different moments. So mostly before I got into the Desktop, but 3 out 50 times it would boot into the OS, but of course this a serious problem and unwanted situation. Something about FSCompression, CPUID unknown, I have made some screenshots. TLB invalidation IPI timeout: "CPU(s) failed to respond to interrupts I can read. and com.apple.AppleFSCompression.AppleFSCompressionTypeZlib (see the screen shots) Another strange issue, all kexts in 10.11 (Clover) wouldn't load, I solved this by installing them to System/Library/Extensions, but of course this is not the best solution (I think). Here is my entire EFI folder including OsxAptioFixDrv, config.plist and everything: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gi0bj2galmaudkg/EFI.zip?dl=0 Patched AppleHDA 10.10.3 I am using(for Yosemite): https://www.dropbox.com/s/be8fjxtnqvltxbd/AppleHDA.kext.zip?dl=0 and here is my IOReg: https://www.dropbox.com/s/70zr6ub8mf22nez/ioreg-AsusX99Deluxe.ioreg?dl=0 I hope someone can solve this problem, and that the other files I have attached are useful for other Asus X99 Deluxe owners, Merry christmas everyone by the way Nikita
