But today i was shutting down the laptop and when i close the clamshell the computer automatically sleeps so while it was trying to shut down it restarted(sleep) and now whenever i try to run the computer it just reboots after BSD ROOT and keeps rebooting. It was working fine before.. i cant go in to safe mode... i can go in to single user mode (-s) how can i access logs? or fix this??!?

  10. Trackpad...

  11. Trackpad...

Ok I have a dell 1525, installed kalyway+10.5.3>10.5.4(vanilla) everything seems to be working great except for the trackpad. Initially, after a fresh install the trackpad works great but no option for "tap-click" gesture. After adding appletrackpad kext the gesture is available... BUT now with the added kext my tracking speed is too fast...i have it set on the slowest setting and its still a bit too fast... with the original kext the tracking speed works great but no "tap-click" gesture. anyway i can slow it down further? or add the tap-click function to the mouse without the trackpad kext? help!!
  12. Anyone here have these problems: Going to sleep turns off the fans, and screen and just (instant)reboots the computer! and the fans dont turn back on unless i do a cold boot! (scary) EDIT: SLEEP WORKS perfect when the laptop is unplugged! but no dice plugged in My trackpad is too FAST even on the slowest setting (tracking speed). Anyway to slow it down? oops forgot to tell u...i've got the dell 1525
