  1. Well, after about 3,614 tries, Windows 7 booted right un in Vmware (v2.1.0) basically just started from scratch as I was having the same problems that other people were having saying it don't work. It does work... **** #1 thing that help is I did the partition stuff BEFORE i even installed vmware and bam... popped right up first try ****** Maybe make a note in first post to RECCOMEND to do that first ...

  4. Installed Kalyway 10.5.2 onto my HP 6510b (NX Series) Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 (Correctly Installed) 3GB DDR-2 Ram (Correctly Installed) DVD-RW (Correctly Installed) Burns correctly also Audio: ADI1981 (Works after AppleAzailiaFix1981.pkg) Broadcom Wifi (Correctly Installed) (will get model # later) Broadcom Gigabit (Correctly Installed) Bluetooth (Correctly Installed) Video: Intel X3100 (Correctly Installed) CI/QE Working Updated to 10.5.3 using Kalyway Update 10.5.3 - Everything still functioning. Seen installs break after 10.5.3 so going to sit at this point as see no need to update any further. (These are OSX86 machines for fun, be less problems if people stop trying to apply every update possibly when it's not broke) Dual boot with WinXP flawless ... The above applied should be relative towards most all NX series laptops above 65xx on Intel CPU's. Any questions, just go ahead and ask!
  5. Users with GMA 950 / X3100 Real Macs needed here

hah, that leopard graphics update just hosed my system... had everthig working (even wireless) except, the vid mode, and bam, back to square one ...

  7. Current OS X Version: 10.5.1 Install method: iATKOS 1.0i Motherboard Manufacturer: Abit Model: AL8 Version: Bios Version: 19 Chipset: Intel 945P / ICH7R Audio: Realtek HD Audio - Works OTB LAN: Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit (requires AppleBCM5751Ethernet_modified.kext.zip) works afterwards CPU Model Number: Intel Pentium D 950 3.4Ghz & 3.8Ghz Recognised as: 3.81GHz Memory/DDR: 4 x Samsung 1GB @ 667MHz Video Manufacturer: eVGA Model: 7800GTX Bus Type: PCIe x16 Memory size: 256MB QE/CI working: Yes SATA/IDE working: Yes (2 x SATA HD, 2 x DVDRW IDE) Other peripherals/pci addon cards: iPod (works, DuH!) 8. Simplicity: 2 hard drives and Acronis Disk Director. 1. Install only 1 HD Install OSX-PC, 2. Disconnect first OSX HD, and connect other HD and install Windows Whatever .. 3. Connect them both making the Windows HD the master boot. 4. Install Acronis Disk Director 10, install the boot manager, and you done. The thing I like about this is I can just install as many os's as my heart desires (or until I use up all my sata ports) but then theres USB! So once you get each seperate drive loaded up with the os, just connect them all (ide, sata, usb, thumbdrive) and start at step 3 using the same guidelines, acronis will detect them all and force whichever one to active and boot it up... Just my 2 cents ... (jaS 10.4.8 - WindowsXP / Dual Boot Configuration: 2x250GB SATA) (jaS 10.4.8 - Windows Vista - openSUSE 10.3 / Triple Boot Configuration: 2x80GB SATA, 1x8GB Thumbdrive (OSX)
