    AMD Vanilla Kernel

Found that I was still using an old DSDT for my USB ports, F31 BIOS works great without it, and even USB works!

    AMD Vanilla Kernel

AlGrey updated the patches, so now 10.14.5 and the Update from 10.14.4 works, thanks for that. I just updates my motherboards UEFI to a new one using AMDs AGESA 0.0.7.2 (version F31 on GA-AB350M-D3H) and now I‘m getting kernel panic on AppleAPCIPlatform (on 10.14.5, but it definitely worked before uefi update):

AMD Mojave Kernel Development and Testing

Would it be possible to build a kernel with OPEMU? I have a some 32 bit apps here and it would be nice to get them running on Mojave. Thank you in advance!
  4. Apple just released sources for 10.14.1, this time with XNU! https://opensource.apple.com/release/macos-10141.html
  5. Updated from 10.13.3 to 10.13.6 following Shaneee‘s tutorial, worked very well. Thanks to all of you involved in building the new kernel! No issues with building prelinkedkernel after rolling back to Shaneee‘s IONetworkingFamily.kext. I do not use any modified System.kext. System is running on latest Clover with VirtualSMC. I also did not use Shaneee‘s rp file but repaired permissions manually (didn‘t find sources for rp and don‘t like unknown binarys working on my system files).
  6. c'mon Apple, why no 10.14? Don't want to wait half a year on it again... But very nice we can at least upgrade to 10.13.6 and use Xcode 10!

Mojave On GT 610 ? And other Fermi card

Is there anything else you did to make it work? I have a GT520, which also uses the GF119 chip, I can get to the Desktop but have no acceleration and my cursor is invisible (which is at least better than 10.13.6 where I get a window server crash loop). I tried with and without Inject Nvidia in Clover and latest Lilu + Whatevergreen.
  8. Thank you very much Shaneee for this new kernel, it is working perfectly for me However, there is still a shutdown issue. When I shutdown my machine, it seems to reset, because it's rebooting instead of turn off. If you need more information for debugging, just ask.
  9. Nice to hear that it‘s working again. I tried latest Xcode (9.4.1) on 10.13.3 and 10.13.5 with no luck. Which version of Xcode are you using?
  10. I just finally managed to build 10.13.3 xnu with @Shaneees diff above. It will boot, but it stucks before the desktop because of missing fakesmc, so clover kext injection does not work (Ryzen 5 1600). Is there any clover log so we could get a hint? Or maybe there were some compiler changes in xcode (but wouldn‘t that mean that kext injection must break in a coming official kernel too?) @DP1991 This probably won‘t be fixed in the near future. I think it would require changes in Adobe‘s code and not in the kernel.
  11. @Shaneee Did you try some older Clover verisons? There was a change to Kext injection, I think it was r4497. Maybe that would be a possibility to find the problem. Would you share your diff, so others can try to solve the problem?

Clover test and patches for Polaris GPU

My CSM is always enabled (cause OS is set to Other OS instead of Windows 8). I tried to boot with a Clover Stick made for Legacy BIOS: On Recovery HD absolutely nothing changed. On normal macOS HD the fans slow down at the point the driver will load. I see the well known coloured dots. I found another interesting BIOS setting: With Fast Boot enabled, I can set the VGA mode to EFI and Auto. On Auto it says: It will load only Legacy OpROM for Legacy OS (no Logo will be shown), but it will still load EFI driver for EFI OS. I played a while with that setting, but it seems not really to work because I always see the Gigabyte Logo. It does not change anything in macOS, I still see the dots, also with Full Screen LOGO Show disabled.

Clover test and patches for Polaris GPU

I found out that I can actually hear in which state my Sapphire RX460 is: The card istn't initialized: The fans are stopped and it's completely quiet The card is initialized by UEFI / GOP driver: The fans are running and quite noisy (seems that there istn't any fan control) When an OS starts controlling the initialized card (tested with Linux) the fans slow down When an OS starts controlling the not-initialized card (tested with Linux and macOS, iGPU is primary) the fans go up, but slow down immediately. So, I made a few tests and "heard" the result: RX460 is primary and only video card: Boot to Recovery HD, one DVI display connected: The fans get noisy right after BIOS beep, system freezes at blank recovery background. The fans stay noisy, so no kext loaded successfully! Boot to normal Mac OS, one DVI display connected: The fans get noisy right after BIOS beep, system boots to black screen. Also, the fans stay noisy, so no kext loaded successfully. Boot to normal Mac OS, no display connected: Same result as with a display, there is no signal when I connect the DVI display after one minute. The fans stay noisy. Seems like my UEFI (GA-H81M-HD3) always loads the GOP driver, even without any display connected. Also, there seems to be no difference between Recovery Mode and normal boot.
