    syntax error,unexpected $end and premature End-OF-File

Much appreciated. I've been trying for days to remove those errors to allow me to start patching. How did you get around the Syntax errors if you don't mind me asking. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk Not sure exactly how you patched or fixed the errors but when applying patches to the DSDT you uploaded it causes other errors. 2. Is anyone able to help me with an issue I'm having trying to prepare or even patch a DSST. I end up with this one error in the end. I keep getting an error with my DSDT This error is as close to I have come to compile a working DSDT syntax error, unexpected $end and premature End-Of-File Can anybody help me. I am trying to edit my DSDT for the Dell Venue 11 Pro 7130 Here is a link to my DSDT. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QvBGRBKFGrHNYABVBjvdXzWp-BxDyXMk/view?usp=drivesdk Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I could get passed these errors then maybe I could attempt to fix my touch screen with the VoodooI2c patches. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5a618a1467442/DSDT.dsl Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

    [GUIDE] [10.12] Sierra on Tab!

Sounds good had and unexpected turn of events so I could not get to that today. Will get on it as soon as I can tomorrow do not want to keep you waiting too long. I will also be purchasing another windows tablet to dual boot windows 10 and Os x, just need to figure out which tablet has best dual boot compatibility with os x and the internal hardware of said device. After achieving this I feel like expanding to more then one device. @midi appreciate your help once again my knowledge with os x will only get better. In time I will return the favour. Who knows @midi I may even have a VR Headset or free steam game key for you if we get this screen issue sorted out ? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Found this so far Touchscreen: Atmel maXTouch Digitizer (10 points) Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Check out these two pages when you get a chance might help. Has some detailed info on some helpful info we may need. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Samsung_Series_7_Slate_XE700T1A And this page. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Samsung_Series_7_Slate_XE700T1A Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Lastly this. Kernel command-line options Sometimes, ACPI does not work well due to different motherboard implementations and ACPI quirks. This includes some laptops with dual graphics (e.g. Nvidia/Radeon dedicated GPU with Intel/AMD integrated GPU). On Nvidia Optimus laptops, the kernel parameter nomodeset can interfere with the ability to adjust the backlight. Additionally, ACPI sometimes needs to register its own acpi_video0backlight even if one already exists (such as intel_backlight), which can be done by adding one of the following kernel parameters in your bootloader: acpi_backlight=video acpi_backlight=vendor acpi_backlight=native If you find that changing the acpi_video0 backlight does not actually change the brightness, you may need to use acpi_backlight=none. Tip:On an Asus notebooks you might also need to modprobe asus-nb-wmi as root.Disabling legacy boot on Dell XPS13 breaks backlight support. The second link should be most helpful in my last comment. Lots of information about kernel, acpi, etc. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Ok will do my research and see what I can find. I still have the vback cover open so maybe I'll take another look inside the tablet. I took it apart the other day lol ssd was WAY to small Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk My tablet model specific is the XE700T1A-A06US. New video coming soon showing Tri boot process. Once we get display sorted out I will do a tutorial to help others. Thanks again @midi I'm looking for the connector info really soon. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Currently Tri-booting on the tablet internal hard drive. Only two big issues still remain to be the display and Wifi. Display fix is needed and mandatory for the internal tablet display. @midi thanks for your help this far Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

No luck so far still black screen on the tablet display itself. Os x itself seems more stable with this config file. Would say we are not headed in the wrong direction. I'm still researching on this issue also. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Sounds great getting it now to send. Thanks again for your help, Ethernet cuts out once in a wile is working, audio, camera, Bluetooth work. Wifi not working at all as of yet but I think it may be possible to fix or maybe just buy a more compatible Wifi card still looking into it. Display on the tablet and Wifi not working are top priority. Display first of course. Config file on its way. [GUIDE] [10.12] Sierra on Tab!

It seems as if the internal display is not detected by Os X. In os x setting I do not see the internal display itself as an option. Constantly forcing the Hdmi port to be the display for os x/external display. Like I said the tablet display does stay black and acts as a trackpad for the Hdmi external display. Overall I know there is a solution Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Really do need a better explanation on how to fully enable the internal display/make sure it is recognized by os x itself. It's just Wierd how I have display through Hdmi and not the tablet itself. Where do I go to force mirror Internal screen? How do I make sure os x has detected the internal display? Sorry for all the questions I really do need help. I do also appreciate all your time. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
