  1. I've used your patches for Workstation 7 and 8. Your patches work great and I just wanted to say thank you for making such a valuable contribution to the community. Thanks Donk
  2. I was unable to get Lion to install using this and my Asus P6T6. I know it isn't on the supported Motherboard list so I picked a motherboard which had the closest specifications, which was the Gigabyte X58-UD7 As it is loading files it kernel panics with this error: com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPlatform(1.4) If I disable ACPI APIC that error goes away but then it just locks up with "Darwin Kernel Version 11.0.0" without a real error message appearing. I have APIC 2.0 activated and I did everything else in the instructions that I needed to change in the BIOS but unfortunately it doesn't wanna work for me. Any ideas?
  3. iDeneb 1.5 on HP A1710n 10.5.7

I get that exact same error when I attempt to boot my computer after installing iDeneb 10.5.7 Hardware: CPU: Core i7 940 Mobo: P6T6 WS Revolution RAM: 12GB DDR3 1333MHz HD: 320GB Blank Western Digital (Formatted with GPT, and then reformatted to MBR = same error no difference) GPU: GTX260 iDeneb includes drivers for my Networking, Sound and Intel storage controller. I am able to get it fully installed but as soon as I attempt to boot the system (after the successful install) I get the same error as the user above in his screenshots and I mean the _exact same_ error. It even displays it the same amount of times as him.
  4. This worked for me but only on the iDeneb 10.4.7 it did not fix the rebooting on the iATKOS. I got OS X successfully installed but upon first Boot up I get kernel panics (the system no longer reboots). I think I'll just give up on this until next year, Apple make it very difficult to get it going on non-apple hardware and although the modders have done a brilliant job it just isn't user friendly enough at the moment, which is not down to them this is squarely pointed at Apple. Thanks anyway for checking the thread out !
  5. I don't mind a hijack if any of us can get it solved I'd be happy
  6. My problem is whenever I try to install OS X my system reboots before the Installer loads. So far I have tried iDeneb 10.5.7 and also iATKOS 10.5.7 - Whenever I run the discs I get to the normal Darwin/x86 Boot with Chameleon and I attempt to begin but as soon as the Apple Logo appears my system reboots. So I tried both discs again this time with -v as a boot option so I could see what was going on unfortunately the system reboots as-well and there is not enough time to see any error messages. EDIT:// Also I forgot to mention that I did try the CPUS=1 as a boot option aswell as that was mentioned in a few threads here as a possible solution to a panic at install. I have a Leopard retail Disc that I bought years ago when Leopard first came out so I can use that for a 'vanilla' install but I have tried Boot 132 and it doesn't work either it gives me an error about not being able to detect my processor speed and the installer doesn't load it just hangs there on that error. I'd really like to know how I could possibly get any installer to work? Full specifications: CPU: Core i7 940 @ Stock RAM: 12GB 1333MHz Motherboard: ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution (This mobo uses the ADI AD2000B Sound Chip, Realtek 8111C PCIe Ethernet Chips and ICH10R + Marvell 88SE6320 + Marvell 88E6121 for Storage controllers) GPU: GTX260 Hard Disks: 6xSATA Disks all connected to the ICH10R, I have 1xBluray connected to the Marvell 88SE6320 (This is an SAS Controller) Keyboard & Mouse are both USB Thanks for any assistance I wish I had more error codes for you I've spent the last 2 nights Googling and looking at lots of topics here and also the Wiki but I've not found anything on my own that could help which is why I've made this thread.
