  1. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Hi mikaelr, is it possible to detect wether AC adapter is plugged in or not in DSDT? So we could add a different routine for fan speed based on power source. I already implement these codes in my DSDT for quite long time but still can not figure it out.
  2. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Yes, I'm aware of that. In fact I already bought the inverter but the screen is not yet. That's good information for me, some people said that 1600x900 on 14 inch is not really good for text reading such as web browsing etc. Would you confirm that, or maybe you could attach some screenshot of your screen while browsing or using word processor application. Thanks

Hi all, I'm planning to upgrade my screen to 1600x900. Need an information what to edit here? Clover config.plist and DSDT or anything else?
  4. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Hi all, I just bought AR5B195 which is a WiFi + Bluetooth Combo (AR9285+AR3011). I can confirm wifi is working fine since I already have AR9285 before. So these are my problem: Bluetooth had to be turned on first on windows using tpfancontrol and then warm boot into hackintosh. Bluetooth will be not available after wake up from sleep while not charging, but if I plug my t420i into AC adapter, bluetooth is still available and working fine after wake up from sleep. This is really annoying since I used bluetooth mouse. Note that t420i does not come with bluetooth, but it has bluetooth expansion option. Unfortunately mine seems broken after I spilled water accidentally in the trackpad. I bought internal bluetooth dongle before and it was working. my question is, can I turn bluetooth on without booting up into windows first and any clue on bluetooth state after sleep? Maybe DSDT hack?

Guys, I got this message on boot. How to get rid this message? Thanks.

@tluck - computer is not sleeping and is not using screen saver. It's just my display that is turned off / sleep.
  9. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Hi all, I got a random reboot after upgrading to 10.10.1. I don't know how to debug it. I can not find anything useful in system log / clover boot log. But I noticed it happens when I touch any keyboard keys while the display sleep. Any clues guys?
  10. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Ok I'll try it later. For the internal modem, I solved it by installing custom modem scripts which I download from this link. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/283158-solved-ml-on-hp-elitebook-8460p/?p=1860609
  11. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

For now, I just rolled-back AppleHDA to my patched AppleHDA which is working on Mavericks. Sound is working, but another bigger problem comes. F5521gw is also not working anymore. It is indeed still detected, but when I click connect button, it says connecting and after several seconds it is disconected. I even installed Ubuntu virtual machine to test it, and as I expected it works flawlessly within Ubuntu. Anyone can confirm this? My internet connection really depends on it. PS: I still did not try WWAN mode.
  12. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Hi all, I just install Yosemite on my t420i, but it seems sound is not working. Here is my checklist related to this sounds problem: -> kext-dev-mode args √ -> DSDT patched layout-id 12 √ -> clover AppleHDA patched √ -> install AppleHDA_20672.kext by using Kext Wizard √ What am I missed here? Still there is no sound output/input in Sys Pref. Console just show this message related to AppleHDA 04/11/14 00.50.09,000 kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDAEngine at line 17868 04/11/14 00.50.09,000 kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDADriver at line 2841 04/11/14 00.50.09,000 kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDADriver at line 196 04/11/14 00.50.09,000 kernel[0]: Sound assertion in AppleHDADriver at line 1051 Any clue?
  13. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Yes, I have it. I already applied those patch but still there is no response from Scrlk/pause key.
  14. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

@tluck thanks, he is my new born baby The regular scrlk and pause seems doesn't work. Am I miss something? FYI, I use my own DSDT, do I need a patch for remapping Scrlk/Pause to control brightness?
  15. Lenovo ThinkPad T420 with UEFI Only

Hi all, I had another weird (not so) real problem. I remember correctly some days ago that I had an option to change display brightness level in System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts -> Display. Today I want to change the keyboard shortcut mapping to increase/decrease brightness, and weird.. the options is gone. Any suggestion to make it visible again? I see some people use fn+ScrLk/Pause, but I don't know how to use that.
