    dual booting windows and mac

both of you dont understand.... i already installed windows so the first one wont work, also, i installed osx in February so i dont have the installer any more
  2. i have found many tutorials on how to do this... but none that explain what to do in my position. here's is what is happening: i installed osx with chameleon in February then in June (last month) i installed on another partition... i cannot access osx because windows will boot over it because it was the last installed OS. i need to access the osx. is there a boot loader i can use? (i don't want to uninstall any of the OSes) please help! thank-you (btw my system is a dell inspiron 3520) if you need any clarification or have any questions, please ask me in a reply to this thread.
  3. whats the best boot loader? also i cant access osx because of the boot problems....
  4. thanks, but my problem is... i already have them both installed, i cant re install them! i just want to access my mac os. even if its a complicated trick, idc, i just need to access it!
  5. I have mavericks and windows 8.1 installed on my hard drive (mavericks was installed first) made 2 separate partitions for them. I need to boot them in UEFI mode from my bios (i can only boot the windows so far) the problem is, every time i try to boot from the mac partition it switches over to the windows partition and boots from that. for the record i have a dell inspiron 3520. THIS IS NOT MY IMAGE, IT IS JUST SHOWING WHAT MY OPTIONS ARE

my trackpad still doesn't work, but my keyboard does! (i have read that some kexts can block others, maybe that could be my problem)
