  1. oh thanks for enlightening me :). I am a bit of a noob myself
  2. try with bootflags -v -x -f -v darkwake=0 npci=0x2000 kext-dev-mode=1 keepsyms=1 debug=0x100
  3. try with the attached drivers64UEFI, and config.plist. Remove the SmallTree kext, and disable your network controller in BIOS, and other settings I previously mentioned. Also try a different USB port, as others have suggested. drivers64UEFI.zip config.plist
  4. Oh you have patched BIOS, so you do not need the TSCAdjustReset kext either...
  5. are you getting a kernel panic at boot attempt? In your BIOS settings: Disable the network adapters In the CPU Configuration/CPU Power Management Configuration/: disable the EIST Set autonomous core C-states to enabled Set enhanced halt state to enabled Set CPU C6 report to enabled Set Package C-State to C6(non retention) disable the Intel SpeedShift technology set MFC mode override to OS Native In your EFT/Clover/kexts/Other try removing all kexts and have just the FakeSMC, and TSCAdjustReset
  6. Try with the attached config.plist and the TSCAdjust kext edited to match the number of threads for your CPU. Be a bit patient when booting for the first time to the installation menu. config.plist TSCAdjustReset.kext.zip
  7. I managed to install High Sierra on my machine, but it freezes randomly. As far as I have observed, it freezes when the system is idle, or near idle. In the near idle state, usually it freezes when I am watching a video on the web/VLC/Quick Time. I was trying to make sure it isn't anything related to CPU or memory, so I ran Prime95 overnight and it worked just fine. The system did not freeze at all during the entire night. I repeated this again too to make sure it isn't a one off and it worked. Further I have ran memtest all day now, and it did not freeze again. Both the memtest and Prime95 ran without any errors (memtest passed). It seems to me that if at least one core is loaded moderately (as by memtest), then the system does not hang. If the system is near idle however, e.g. watching videos online, then it freezes. I have generally noticed the system freezes while playing video files (don't know if audio only files will hang it too), but today I was playing videos nearly all day on YouTube/VLC while running memtest, and it worked just fine! I suspected it might have something to do with Intel's speed shift or speed step technology, but when experimenting with disabling both or one at a time, it still hung. My system specs are Rampage VI extreme, 7980XE, Strix 1080 Ti, 128GB DDR4. I am using SMBIOS for iMac Pro 1.1. I have also experimented with a Zotac's GTX 1050Ti, to the same results. Please help! config.plist
  8. Can someone please tell me what's the problem? I have stress tested the CPU and GPU and it didn't freeze. It seems it only hangs when I run an audio/video file Anonymous UUID: CEA32236-CAB1-E16C-44F8-0C32F6BFB664 Mon Feb 26 14:36:18 2018 *** Panic Report *** panic(cpu 16 caller 0xffffff800694bdcf): "TLB 9. Yeah that's the guide I used to get it to install the first time. Though now after repeated attempts, it's giving me a kernel panic at attempting to boot from USB, and hangs at that, displaying "contact https://panic.apple.com..." Thanks a lot though.
  10. I am using a 1080 Ti. I was able to get it to install and boot several times yesterday, but then it started to randomly freeze. I had only installed the nVidia's web driver, and VoodooHDA kext in the EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other folder. Now I can not get it to boot from either the USB installation disk, or from the SSD. Here is what I am going to do: download High Sierra, and then create an installation USB using sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ High\ Sierra.app --nointeraction Is VoodooTSCSync better than TSCAdjustReset or are they essentially the same?
  11. Hi, I am trying to install High Sierra on my machine (Rampage VI Extreme, 7980xe) but I am stuck at the first two lines of clover at boot. The system shuts down after a while. I am using your config.plist that's attached with #181. Please help.
  12. Hi, I am running 10.12.3, with the 950 pro. Can I update to 10.12.4 and then use the script to generate a HackrNVME kext? Or I have to generate this kext before updating and then using Clover injection with it?
  13. yeah that's the one I am using but warm boot always gets stuck. Are you facing this problem too? Also, what other drivers are you using (some might cause problems?)
  14. May I ask which drivers do you have in EFI/Clover/Drivers64 folder? If I warm boot, I get stuck on memory allocation, but a cold boot takes me through. I have the OsxAptioFixDrv-2000.efi
  15. I followed the procedure outlined in the post # 8 of this thread, and yeah applied all the patches..
