  1. Mines working on 10.6.2 with the Linksys_WUSB54GC_Setup.zip package from here Even though it says its for leopard and tiger it works fine on 10.6.2
  2. Low Profile Sapphire Radeon HD 4650

Disregard this thread guys, I finally got QE/CI DVI and 1440x900 working, My apologies for posting a new thread I was having so muchtrouble getting it to work before but it finally worked wit JaS's kexts and his dvi bootloader
  3. Low Profile Sapphire Radeon HD 4650

I've got a low profile 1GB DDR2 Sapphire Radeon HD 4650 (device id 0x94981002)and I can not get the damned thing to work for my life. I've tried about 10 different kext combos and packages and nothing works. I've tried JaS's kexts which got me VGA working with my old 17" lcd any res but no QE/CI and vga is useless to me as I use DVI with my 19" ws which is my main monitor. I've try every kext combo I've seen on insanely as well as other forums and they all result in a black screen and all but JaS's gave me a black screen also in vga. I really need DVI working and my monitor does not have a hdmi input so I can't try that trick. If I edit my device ID into the vanilla kexts that also results in just a blank screen GraphicsEnabler=y is in my plist as I kernel panic due to radeonx2000 without that. I'm using PC-EFI 10.6 I'm running 10.6.2 currently, I tried 10.6.3 and had no luck either has anyone got the same exact card as me, or is it an issue due to it being low profile? Solved using JaS's 10.6.2 kexts and his method here with his dvi boot file JaS many thanks to you for those files!
  4. ATI Radeon HD 4650 - any support QE/CI?

Same here except I have a VGA port but I still get a blank screen, once I added the graphicsenabler string I could boot without the kernel panic but now I just get a blank screen. I really need to get my dvi port working on 10.6.2, Tried 10.6.3 also and had no luck either. My monitor has no HDMI input so I'm screwed on trying that trick.
  5. I re-tried the other day and it Worked fine using your dvi-boot file from another forum on 10.6.2 thank you man!
  6. Gateway DX4300-03 DSDT patching fails to compile it natively and on force compile it results in 176 errors 8 warnings 0 Remarks 8 Optimizations. DSDT files below if anyone could possibly help DSDT.zip
  7. You are awesome man! I finally got it to boot today with a little tweaking -v maxmem=4096 busratio=20 -f ! Awesome guide man thank you so much! Gateway DX4300-03 AMD Phenom x4 95750 Foxconn A7GM-S [Foxconn RS780] (Northbridge: AMD RS780 soutbridge:SB700) ALC888s 1GB Radeon HD 4650
  8. I've been trying massive numbers of installs to no luck unfortunately I've gotten somewhat far with a retail SL disk but I hang up on AppleUSBOHCI[0xaac8000]: :CheckSleepCapability - Controller will be unloaded across sleep and then still waiting for root device endlessly. I tried using a kext to fix the still waiting for root device but that led to a CPU halted error. DSDT patching fails also when I tried it from inside Leopard Force compile emits 175 errors. Anyone have any luck with this system or similar specs? Basic Specs are as follows Foxconn A7GM-S (RS780 Chipset SB700 Southbridge) AMD Phenom 9750 X4 ATI Radeon HD 4650
  9. A friend of my just installed iDeneb 10.5.6 on his HP Pavillion Dv6000 Intel model, and he has this adapter (D-Link DWA-140 Wireless Adapter) and he can't seem to stay connected to his internet with it. He's right next to the router and it keeps going out and back on endlessly. We have tried several things like rebooting, replugging and reloading the kexts but still have no luck. Anyone have a solution or having this problem themselves? It's working fine with windows but its going crazy in OS X.

  12. Finally Working! GMA950 CI/QE and Resolutions

  13. Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd freezes

Double posting..but The reason mine was freezing up was because I have an IDE DVD Drive, which kalyway doesn't support so it wont start he installer. I finally have Leo up and running but had to us the iDeneb 10.5.5 installer, which worked fine except for my stupid Intel GMA 950 card. So I suggest to you guys having this problem to try iDeneb if you have an IDE DvD drive like me

  15. Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd freezes
