Nubira reacted to Hervé in Intel CPU hardware vulnerability
Let's calm down Apianti. I think we all got your end-of-the-world point here... and all is fine... just as it were back on Jan 1st, 2000. Are you currently packing to go and live hidden in a cave to feel safer? Leave your Intels behind, only take the AMDs...

Meantime, the world's computers are still ticking, trains are still going, planes are still flying, companies are still trading, banks ATMs are still distributing, supermarkets are still selling, telephones are still ringing, my hackintoshes are still running (as fast or slow as before) and my wife is still nagging.

Intel ain't gonna kill human civilisation today... What more do we need to say?

They should finnish the os x versions before they release new ones but they never do that and every new version has round 8 updates. So why the heck they release them before they are completely done with them is stupid. My guess is they try to force customers to buy new hardware repetedly. I have not seen any improvements at all since I started with hackintoshing in the leopard days. Well maybe snowleopard was a little cooler but thats it. Same on the ios side and my iphone and ipad constantly looses functionality and acts weird. These are products I paid some hard earned money for and that used to work supergood but not any more now they suck and for every update they suck even more.

At least in Logic you can change outputs as well as inputs so all in and outputs should be working ok. If this is not enough for what you want to do you can always try make an aggregate device or use soundflower or and LineIn or a combonation of all of those options.

I have the delta 1010 and a firewire sapphire pro 10 i/o in my hack and it works really good.

One is the q6600 and one is a xeon quadcore so I need to check if they can handle it but Sierra is the goal to keep them working on the internet for as long as they can.

Hi I had same problem with gigabyte board using Ozmosis, trust me I did all the things in the web for it to work, except Flashing it with SPI Programmer. Once flashed with SPI Programmer but with Original bios not the modified one, it worked! For you, you have to flash it with the one that does not have Ozmosis inside.

Then, when it work, use the modified one!

Trust me, no need for other motherboard, and don't spend more Dollars!

I broadcasted live while trying to shake life in the motherboard one more time. I had to run between other stuff so much during the livestream though so I had to download it and edit it to shorten it or it would have been crazy boooooring to watch (now its only booring lol). It is no serious real video I did it just for fun and to salute the AOS motherboard on its last jorney lol.

Though I already pretty much knew it was broken I did not care to be supercarefull like not smoke over it and make sure I discharge myself so theres no static electricity etc etc. The broadcast was made with my other QUO AOS motherboard/computer which is still working supergood and a thunderbolt capture card, a Panasonic G7, CamtWist and Flasn Media Live Encoder. I can not run OBS on it cause it runs on a to old os x version and I wont upgrade it just yet.

Yup you're right instead of bitching I should focus on finding out the best way to use that old Asus workhorse now that I know what it probably could do best to accomplish what Im here for.

I have my military days can come forward as a {censored} so I guess it's easy to get pissed of on me. But then again you do that to me too so.....

    So here is me

I'm stuck on Mac OS cause my hobby is to find out the coolest, most flexible, cheapest way for a creative person to broadcast a high quality video and audio stream over the internet from anywhere on the planet with a decent internet connection to any platform anywhere in the world. I just found that out lol.

The cool good flexible software today for doing that today is mac only I'm afraid.

It started with a dream taking form back in the 80ies when the Amiga 500 came. Bars and Pipes you remember that program? I do. That's when the dream started for me cause I realized you probably in the future would be able to use a computer as a multitrack tape recorder. Cause I suck with computers and in general just suck I never got the code to master Cubase and al those other fancy programs back then. This till I by accident fell over Emagic Logic ( yes I'm 61 I´m an old fart) and I finally got it.

Lucky as always Apple bought Logic but I struggled on for a few years but ended up with a Mac Mini. That was a cool mashine (I still have it) but after a while I grew out of it and once again more or less by accident I fell over insanellymac and cause of real macs being so expensive to be honest it wasn't hard to fell in love.

Then the same happen again but even more advanced = anyone being able to do that + high quality video + live colorgrading/effects anything depending only on your own creativity.

Imagine how local business, cultural and or commercial events freedom of speech could thrive both on a community "micro"  and or country level maybe even world wide level could thrive from this. Fresh local {censored} right here right now and affordable.

Imagine Insanelymac Live on Air how cool wouldn't that be? People interacting live in google hangout like rooms etc etc helping each other out taking this forward …….

Facts is the cheapest most flexible way to do this today with only one computer is with a hackintosh and Mac OS only software so .......

I love these mobos that's why I own two of them and thanks for any contribution from your part that they works as good as they really  do. Just the fact they have thunderbolt and fw 4 and 800 and after flashing bios updates mac os with no trouble at all but sound is incredible. I do not debate that that is why I bought them.

I'm sorry man my social skills sucks big time I just thought I asked a question to people using this mobo in a similar what that I do.

From what I understand you think I either am doing something wrong or I'm on the wrong OS? Am I right?

Any tips I mean I would be thrilled to trim this setup to perform it's best. The encoding is the hard part and both CamTwist and FMLE wants in  on it so probably a two computer setup is the most stable. It used to to be cause that's the way I started back in the webcam days.

Today with low cost high end "semi" pro HD cams pushing at least 108050 i (max with the ATEM TVS here in Europe for their pocket cinema cam)  ofcourse the challenge on the hardware is lifted again. The Quo mobo having two thunderbolt ports and both fw 4 and 800 on besides all the other goodies on it is cool so don't get me wrong.

'Scuse me? I don't recall ever once complaining "that BIOS is {censored}" or that it has bugs (which it obviously does, but the OZ BIOS is much better than what QUO or Gigabyte is bringing to the table). I came here to suggest a possible solution to a problem so others that may have said problem can try, after googling for hours and getting nowhere with it. You obviously never gave me any ideas. I freely admit I don't know everything there is to know about the BIOS, and that by flipping switches with abandon I could possibly cause myself some problems. Obviously now that I have a USB problem that I didn't have before, it's due to something I did, and now I'm going to systematically go back and switch things back until it's corrected. I also don't ever recall asking for your help or "lessons." I posted to a public help forum for help from ANYBODY who was willing to offer it,  but considering this IS a public internet help forum if you don't want to be helpful you're obviously in the wrong place. Then again, since it's the "interwebz," if you want to be a condescending douche, maybe you ARE in the right place in general.

So for anybody else with any suggestions or tips, feel free to chime in and thank you for your time.
