  2. ^ Yeah, unless you need sleep/reboot I've been pulling my hair out over fixing these issues for the past week now without any luck. If anybody else has gotten sleep to work, would you please fill out the following template so that those of us without working sleep/reboot can get it going too? Thanks in advance. ----------------------------------------- Sleep (Works or Doesn't Work): If Sleep Works, it comes out of sleep by (pressing keyboard, pressing power button, other?): Shut Down (Works or Doesn't Work): Restart (Works or Doesn't Work): OS Release (Kalyway, BrazilMac, iATKOS, ToH, etc.): Motherboard Revision (1.0 or 2.0): BIOS Version (F6, F7, F8A, etc.): Power Management Setup (please fill in values from BIOS below) ACPI Suspend Type (S1 or S3): Soft-Off by PWR-BTTN: PME Event Wake Up: Power On by Ring: Resume by Alarm: HPET Support: HPET mode: Power On By Mouse: Power On By Keyboard: AC Back Function: ---------------------------------------
  3. mtotho, I had no luck whatsoever using your settings. I *think* you might have a revision 1.0 board or something. At this point, I have NO shut down, sleep or restart I really would like to have shut down and then restart (in that order). If anybody else with working shut down and/or restart can fill out that template, I'd greatly appreciate it. ----------------------------------------- Sleep (Works or Doesn't Work): Not working If Sleep Works, it comes out of sleep by (pressing keyboard, pressing power button, other?): Doesn't Sleep Shut Down (Works or Doesn't Work): Not working (it seems to do the whole bit but kill the power) Restart (Works or Doesn't Work): Not working (it seems to do the whole bit but the 'restart' part) OS Release (Kalyway, BrazilMac, iATKOS, ToH, etc.): iATKOS Release 2 Motherboard Revision (1.0 or 2.0): 2.0 BIOS Version (F6, F7, F8A, etc.): F8A Power Management Setup (please fill in values from BIOS below) ACPI Suspend Type (S1 or S3): S3 Soft-Off by PWR-BTTN: Delay 4 Sec PME Event Wake Up: Enabled Power On by Ring: Enabled Resume by Alarm: Enabled HPET Support: Enabled HPET mode: 64-bit Power On By Mouse: Disabled Power On By Keyboard: Disabled AC Back Function: Power Off After Failure ---------------------------------------
  4. I'm not using the ethernet so I really can't tell you if it works or not (I bought an ASUS WL-138G V2 wireless PCI card expressly for this system because it works as a "third party AirPort card" Peace
  5. For those of you who've managed to get sleep, shut down, and restart working, would you please provide some assistance to those of us who don't have it working by filling out the following template: ----------------------------------------- Sleep (Works or Doesn't Work): If Sleep Works, it comes out of sleep by (pressing keyboard, pressing power button, other?): Shut Down (Works or Doesn't Work): Restart (Works or Doesn't Work): OS Release (Kalyway, BrazilMac, iATKOS, ToH, etc.): Motherboard Revision (1.0 or 2.0): BIOS Version (F6, F7, F8A, etc.): Power Management Setup (please fill in values from BIOS below) ACPI Suspend Type (S1 or S3): Soft-Off by PWR-BTTN: PME Event Wake Up: Power On by Ring: Resume by Alarm: HPET Support: HPET mode: Power On By Mouse: Power On By Keyboard: AC Back Function: ---------------------------------------
  6. Current OS X Version: 10.5.1 Install method: Kalyway 10.5.1 DVD Desktop/Laptop? Desktop Self-built Motherboard Manufacturer: ECS Model: 945GCT-M Version: 1.0 Bios Version: 07/11/07 Chipset: Intel 945GC Audio: Must use SkippyRetard's AzaliaAudio.pkg. ONLY 2-Channel Line-Out works, no audio inputs or multi-channel out work. (NOTE: 2.0 USES IDT CHIP AND AUDIO OUTPUT AND INPUT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL) LAN: Working out of the box Required patches etc? None, did the following install options in Kalyway installer: Vanilla Kernel Vanilla ACPI Fix EFI MBR CPU Model Number: Core 2 Duo E4500 Recognised as: 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Memory/DDR: Micron 2 x 1GB PC-5300 DDR2 RAM Video Manufacturer: Intel Model: GMA950 Bus Type: PCIe x16/AGP8x/onboard? Onboard Memory size: Not sure (16MB I believe) Dual screen working? Not Capable (Only one VGA out on motherboard) QE/CI working? Yes, automatically without any patching Resolution changeable? Yes, available without any patching Required patches or bios flashing? None SATA/IDE working: Yes, used SATA HDD and IDE DVD+/-RW Wifi & patches? Used ASUS WL-138G V2 (recognized as Airport) without any patches other peripherals/pci addon cards? None installed misc hardware: No other hardware installed Sleep: Works (Strange issue where if the PC went to sleep while using Leopard and then you shut down, the next time around the PC will not turn on out of a cold boot, you must hit the reset button to get it to continue the POST procedure). Minor nuisance but easy-enough workaround. Restart: Works Shut Down: Works
  7. My New Build.

^ I just swapped my 945GCCT-M 2.0 for a 1.0 and I was wondering how you guys were getting audio to work on the board? Are you installing a third-party package or ...? I'm using a vanilla install of Kalyway's 10.5.1 BTW (I'm getting no audio at all right now -- see a "No Entry" icon under the volume meter when pressing the volume buttons on my keyboard) Peace
  8. What network cards work?

This card worked for me right out of the box (thanks to help from forum members here for suggesting it) in Leopard 10.5.1 (recognized as Airport): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16833320022 Peace
  9. Did anybody manage to get the audio on the 945GCT-M 2.0 patched and working? I've got the exact same board and need some help getting the sound working. Thanks
  10. msantoso, what version of the WUSB54G do you have working in Leopard? Version 4? Just using the ralink drivers and you got it to work? Peace
  11. ASUS WL-138g v2

^ Does this fix work for Leopard as well, or does the WL-138g v2 work right out of the box in Leopard? Peace
  12. USB 802.11g and 10.4

This thread might have the solution we're looking for: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...2402&st=120 Peace
  13. USB 802.11g and 10.4

Have the same adapter (and problem) as the original poster (using Kalyway 10.5.1 Vanilla). I'm not sure that it's worth the hassle, I'm going to buy a native Leopard-supported adapter from MacMall and just move on :-( Peace
  14. ALC88x 10.4.8 Kext

Thank you skippyretard for the driver, I've got working 2-channel sound on my ASUS P5N-E SLI motherboard Just a quick question: how can I get 6-channel analog working on this motherboard (which install option am I supposed to choose)? 15. Generic USB2.0 (EHCI) Driver

Hey, I used the 2.7.0 file you provided on an Uphuck 10.4.9 install on a Compaq Presario V5205NR laptop. It actually worked Thank you very much for saving me a load of trouble in finding a working solution Peace
