  1. Something to share:

I was having trouble with my Broadcom BCM4352 WiFi+BT combo card on my ASUS Z87i-Deluxe.  The kext provided by toleda wasn't working right away, but rolling back IO80211Family and IOBluetoothFamily kexts to 10.10.3 versions fixed my problems right away.

    Hope this helps!

  2.

You need more room to put ozmosis stuff, try to use aggressivity switch

Dont use pure bios, it's CAP file it means it's' signed and any operation invalid the signing, if you try to flash with utility inside bios, fail because the signature is invalid due to manipulation.

This is your bios with minimal required ozmosis stuff, it's' missing DSDT because i cant edit

Thank you Aigors.  The way I've flashed Oz BIOS before was using the EZFlash button on the back of my mobo with the CAP file on my USB.  It seems to skip the signing/verification problems..

How would I flash the BIN file you gave me?  If I were to do it again, how would I get the BIN from the CAP file to patch with Ozmtool?

  3. I've been having trouble getting my BIOS patched with Ozmosis.  I have an ASUS Z87I-DELUXE motherboard.  Every time I run the program, I get this message:

I'm not sure what to do next to solve my problem. Any ideas?

    Stock BIOS: Z87I-DELUXE-SI-1204.zip

  4. I added the missing stuff, at a minimum you have to have EnhancedFat, HfsPlus, Ozmosis, and OzmosisDefaults. You was missing all of those, you had your ethernet, genericusb and partitiondxe those are optional. I used a iMac13,2 SMBIOS for your Defaults

Hmm... I thought I added them in just like your tutorial stated... oh well. It seems to be working now, as I have new boot entries labeled "Macintosh HD" and "Recovery HD". I can select "Macintosh HD" and the Yosemite Apple logo loads up, but the progress bar doesn't move.. and a few seconds later, the computer reboots. Any ideas? Or do I need to adjust my own settings? {I've been using an iMac14,2 SMBIOS... does this matter?)

EDIT: Never mind! It's just a KP because I forgot to delete my old FakeSMC kext out of /S/L/E. Booted up an installer and clean installed just fine. Thank you so much Pavo!

  5. Easiest way is to hit the alt+windows key+p+r combo continuously and see if it resets nvram, the screen will flash different colors or create a USB installer using the createinstallmedia method and boot directly off of it by using your BIOS boot menu hot key

Okay, I tried what you've said above, but it still seems to not be working.  Here's a link to the stock BIOS for my board and the one patched with CodeRush's tool and Ozmosis injected into it.  Can you either patch the stock one or check the patched one to make sure I didn't miss anything?

  6. @toleda

I currently am dual-booting OSX Mavericks 10.9.4 and Windows 7 on the same SSD and every time i boot into OSX and then Windows, my BCM4352 in the ASUS Z87i-DELUXE stops working in Windows, but I can reboot into OSX and it works fine. The only way I can fix it is to unplug my system, press the power button, plug it back in, then boot back into windows. It works fine with windows 8.1 but not 7 for some reason. Thoughts?

  7. For OS X 10.10 DP3.

Cosmetic Fix "Unknown -> AirPort " (optional)

    Name: AirPortBrcm4360

    Find: 6B 10 00 00 75 0D

    Replace: 6B 10 00 00 90 90

5 GHz Fix for BCM94352HMB with XT country:

    Name: AirPortBrcm4360

    Find: 58 54 00 25 18 2B 21 00 20

    Replace: 58 54 08 0A 32 1B 43 00 0A

I'm not sure how to patch the AirPortBrcm4360 file.  Can anyone explain to me how to do this?  I tried using Clover's KextsToPatch feature, but it doesn't seem to be working.

  8. Similar problem, but I want to use the DSDT method.  When I try to apply the Airport-Broadcom-BCM94352 DSDT patch from toleda's repo, there are no changes made to the DSDT.  Not sure what is wrong with the patch, maybe I'm not doing something right.

    Motherboard: Asus Z87i-Deluxe

    Thanks,

  9. This is an Asus thread. But anyways.

I don't have a Titan but I do know it has the same chip (GK110?) as the GTX 780 Ti which doesn't work in OS 10.

Thunderbolt, I have no clue, sorry.
