  1. Cypress PS2 Trackpad kext

it was several single taps tried before creating the log ; no KP noted using debug kext; i could try again with 3 fingers and repost if you want ; 2 fingers works well; edit: jerky on 3 fingers but no noted problems other than that.
  2. Cypress PS2 Trackpad kext

    here you go http://www.mediafire.com/download/gah2rd7wutzvwhw/cypress_dump.txt.zip
  3. Cypress PS2 Trackpad kext

kernel panic both AppleACPIPS2 and ApplePS2 are removed i have been using rehabmans default voodoo before coming upon your kext. tap doesn't work and in one instance attempting to use it caused KP this didn't happen with your v 0.1 and v0.2 yes scroll works with 2 fingers
  4. Cypress PS2 Trackpad kext

version 0.3 causes crash_this is the 3rd time i'm typing this i didn't think i would have time but send me debug kext and instructions on how to log . i'm using 15z; 3 finger is jerky; haven't gotten to 4 fingers since it keeps crashing. but still thank you for your efforts.
  5. @ulysse i have the 15z your kext works for 2 finger scroll but it doesn't work for tap/click from trackpad how do i resolve this? tried with both versions.
  6. for the sake of simplicity use chameleon method to install on our systems. pretty sure jk even posted an extra folder for the 15z.
  7. @jkbuha never had this problem before with sleep but it would seem i loose sound after wake does this happen on your end ? how to resolve ?
  8. boot in verbose then post what you see when it hangs don't boot in graphical mode before you have a complete system because you must diagnose incase of such issues. i was going to tell you its this or that but if its jkbuhas files you may need to change the fakesmc it doesn't like our i5 15z . but note to do this only after you've booted verbose to see whats happening under the hood.
  9. oh i guess i had assumed through it so i never looked at it closely. okay will do.
  10. dell xps 15z core i5 2450, intel 3000, 6gb ram, nvidia 540m, 750gb hdd, 1080p display; OSes is dual boot win7 and OSX 10.9 laptop was flashed with your bios mods-latest.
  11. your config file seems to be where my troubles begin . could you give me a run down of how you came upon these values i feel i have to do some editing on my side . other noted issues my laptop has rejected all your kexts i may retry your HDA with my old config. currently now i get spontaneous crashes that result in loss of audio on boot [and a need to reinstall kext to work]. i also need to know if you modded your ACPI kext coz yours doesn't work went back to mine. with your fakesmc no desktop it hangs. This in turn reminds me is there any other thing about your environment i need to know of. is it also possible to tell me how i can retrieve crash info coz the logs show nothing.
  12. @jkbuha are there any noted advantages on dsdt freedom on our hardware?
  13. thanks just managed to compile . mine works with ACPI kext though and battery shows.
