The Dune Case: A Cylindrical PC Case

No space for serious GPU, need at least 30-32cm (GTX 970) EDIT: That colour looks like facial cosmetics cream.

    10.11 Final KP Clover EFI

    Already tried, same problem.
  3. My specs first: MSI Z68-G43 (G3) (latest BIOS) i5-2500K HD3000 8GiB RAM 256GB SSD I'm booting in UEFI mode. I've made El Capitan installer USB using createinstallmedia method from virtual machine. Also installed Clover EFI (r3270) on that USB. Injecting kexts FakeSMC (6.18.1394), RealtekRTL8111 (2.0.0) and NullCPUPowerManagemet. drivers64UEFI: CsmVideoDxe-64.efi DataHubDxe-64.efi EmuVariableUefi-64.efi FSInject-64.efi HFSPlus.efi OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi OsxFatBinaryDrv-64.efi PartitionDxe-64.efi Also tried OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi and OsxLowMemFixDrv-64.efi instead of OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi (which was working for me some time ago) Tried MacPro5,1 and iMac12,2 SMBIOS and same problem appears. Tried on stable overclocked system with all add-in cards, and also on completely stock one with all PCI and PCIe cards taken out and its still same. Disabled all Intel VT stuff. So i'm getting: AppleACPIPlatformExpert::start failed and "unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\" , and IOPlatformExpert etc. Here is photo: http://i.imgur.com/DXsSdhc.jpg Here is my config.plist: config.plist.zip I had 10.8, 10.9 and 10.10 working before.
  4. I'm installing OS X with MacPro5,1 system definition in SMBios, using latest Clover. As expected, i got KP (caused by AppleTyMCEDriver.kext) Is there any working solution that won't touch S/L/E? (Deleting kext) PS: I've tried kext patch with clover and also Disabler.kext, > not worked.
  5. [COMPLETE] Legend: Filenames - Terminal commands - Chameleon flags - Maybe not needed Hello, I'm posting here info about making hackintosh Snow Leopard 10.6.7 on Acer Aspire 3690 (also 3692, etc.) Specs: Intel Celeron M 420 1.6GHz, x86 only 1GB RAM Intel GMA 950 Broadcom 4318 WiFi Broadcom 4401 Ethernet Realtek ALC883 Ok you will need 8GB or bigger USB - or DriveDroid Image for rooted Android devices. (Now you don't need USB Mouse & Keyboard anymore - Trackpad and inbuilt keyboard works!) Pre-made SMBios and chameleon config: plist.zip (Please, generate new smbios serial with Chameleon Wizard)

    Make use of 8GB SSD?

I'm going to buy Lenovo IdeaPad Z510, and install OS X 10.9 on it. I think this can be compared to MacBook Pro Specs: Intel Core i7 4702MQ 2,2GHz 8GB RAM 1600MHz in Dual-Channel NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M 2GB DDR3 (Memory bandwidth is the biggest bottleneck) Intel HM86 Chipset 15,6" LCD with LED backlight, 1366x768, anti-reflex (Yes, resolution is low) WiFi a/b/g/n/ac Atheros LAN Realtek Gigabit HD Webcam 2.2kg, 2.5cm thin, 6h battery . . . SSHD Seagate 1TB 5400rpm + 8GB FLASH (Hybrid drive) As the flash size is just 8GB i won't install OS X on it. I have some ideas to use it, and i want to know if its possible and how to do it. 1. Use it as Caching drive (Like Intel SRT on windows) 2. Move OSX's Virtual Memory on that drive (something like swap or page file) 3. Use this drive as "/tmp" mount point (i used to mount it to ram on linux) 4. Any more ideas? Thanks for your help
  7. Okay i made another clean install, with kexts FakeSMC.kext and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, then deleted kexts AppleGraphicsControl.kext, AppleTyMCEDriver.kext, AppleUpstreamUserClient.kext. used another driver for LAN and used patched AppleHDA instead of VoodooHDA. Also "installed" freeze fix.app from omarabu61, patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext and SSDT like PimentelX86, removed NullCPU... and recreated kext cache. System seems to be stable but sleep isn't still working. Its also depends on my bios config: With resume state S1 - OS X will turn off screen, fans are on, but when i press keyboard it resumes. - Sleep isn't working but don't crash. S1 with Windows7 - It stops almost all fans (i think PSU is still cooling), my water pump is on, power button led is on. - Sleep work S3 - OS X will turn off screen, after 15 seconds PC shut down (no fans, no pump, no led). When i power it on, it will power on for 3 secs, turn off, power on for 3 secs, turn off, power on for 10 secs, turn off, power on normally. Any sugesstions? Need extra boot flags or problem is caused by USB? Working, installed directly on 2 disk RAID0.
  8. It fixed your problem completely?
  9. I know that nullcpupow... will disable power management but can you tell me some solutions about graphics?
  10. My system is reinstalled and after installation i have installed latest chameleon (of course). I think some kext causes this problem
  11. No no, i have every time re-installed it completely and my system is clean as Mr. Propper's bald head EDIT: You mean i should use older boot loader? (Chameleon 2.2 link)
  12. Hello, before a start explaining my problem here are my specs: CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) Dual-Channel 1600MHz CL9 GPU: EVGA NVIDIA GTX 560Ti 1GB (Superclocked edition) HDD: (Please don't laught) WD Caviar (Black) 2000JS 200GB SATA2 MOBO: MSI Z68A-G43 (G3) (Latest BIOS v5.2) AUDIO: On-board Realtek HDA ALC887 NET: Realtek PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Bootloader: Chameleon 2.3 (Latest revision) OS: OS X Mavericks 10.9.1 Args.: GraphicsEnabler=Yes Ethernet Built In Kexts: VoodooHDA 2.8.4 Lnx2Mac Realtek driver NullCPUPowerManagement or Patched AppleIntelCPU… FakeSMC (Latest i found was 5.xxx) SMBIOS: tried MacPro3,1; iMac12,1; iMac12,2 BIOS has been set-up as it should be I made also other build that are working like charm. I don't had any problems with installation or anything like that, its fully working except 1 thing. So i have same problem from first day I'm using OS X on my PC. (ML 10.8.4 till now) This happens randomly, daily about 10 times: All windows freeze, also main panel, clock, but i can move mouse cursor. I really don’t know why this happens if its kext problem or need DSDT. I also made own DSDT, used fixes as one user with very similar MOBO (SB LPC, New HPET, … just system/cpu oriented) It booted, its really loaded, but i don’t see any difference. I tried installation using Uni*****, myHack, and also own vanilla installer (now). Its every time same. If you know anything that can cause this problem please help. Thanks very much for any help.
