  1. USB installation ok...but can't boot

Man, I'm sorry to be no help, but I stopped by to say that I'm having the same problem, just with ToH Leopard (RC2). Dis you try to manually install the bootloader? Maybe it'll work for you. edit:Also, be sure that the Volume you're trying to boot has the "Owners Enable" thingy enabled.
  2. HP Dv6000 & Dv9000 Intel Only

I'm sorry to hear that WisdomWolf, I'm no expert on this stuff but so far I'm having luck with ToH RC2...I mean, is working like my previous uphuck's 1.3 with the exception of the ethernet card which I can't get to work. Did you try Installing Tiger first and then Leopard on top? I think this mostly has something to do with the bootloader, and preventing booting issues (not your case) but maybe you should give it a try. If you don't have a Tiger DVD on hand you should download kalyway "make hd bootable" ISO. It's on the Jack Sparrow Bay.. hehe. I've had no success getting Leopard installed (blinking cursor boot) on a usb drive... I'm close to give up. However, it's running just fine on my laptop, dual booting with Tiger (using Tiger's bootloader) Good Luck with that, WisdomWolf, keep asking and be patient. Cheers
  3. HP Dv6000 & Dv9000 Intel Only

It appears you haven't done the post patch thingy. I was using uphuck's 1.3 (10.4.9) so when I found out I had to do some post install patching I was like... whaaat??. The thing is you should do the post patch using BrazilMac's patch http://forum.osx86scene.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2008 Well, this is what I have Mac OS X Leopard 9a581 - ToH RC2 HP Pavilion dv6135nr Working: Video (Intel GMA950): Full, resolution, QE and the other thing, Dual Screen, no glithing (thanks to paulicat's natit kext) Sound (Intel HDA): Just the speakers, stereo. No mic in or line out. USB Ports: All of them OK DVD: Fine Fan/Cpu temp: Fine, had to delete AppleIntelCpuManagment.kext. Not working: Integrated LAN (Intel 10/100/1000 Gigabit ethernet): Was working fine with 10.4.9. Haven't found a solution. WiFi (Intel 3945 ABG): Never worked. Using a D-link DWL-G122 Usb adapter. Mic In and Line Out. Not tested: Card reader: Not tested, Probably not working ExpressCard Slot: the same Fax Modem: It should work. Firewire: Should work too. Thats all. I'm going to try the PC_EFI Patch http://www.digitmemo.com/articles/734/howt...-in-hackintosh/ Cheers.
  4. Intel Wireless driver

well, i tried the last iwi3945 with these results. 1. Also, when I pressed (1) two times I got a Kernel Panic. 2. I tried booting from windows, making sure that my wireless is on, but I still see that rfkill2 thing on the system log. 3. When I start network selector and type (2) I get a message saying that mi wireless is off, I turned on with option (1). Now I get the usual say hello to the world message. I ended up posting the logs anyway, hope it helps. Thanks for your work jalavoui. Cheers dmesg.txt ioreg.txt system.txt
  5. Intel Wireless driver

Installed iwi3945 from post 2923. No kernel panics whatsoever. But, as Gundam, my network selector doesn't seem to work. It shows 00:00:00.... as my MAC Address. These are my logs. Thanks for your efforts jalavoui and the rest of the guys here. dmesg.txt ioreg.txt system.txt
  6. hp dv6000t laptop

Thanks for your response guilliamo. The dv6220 (the white special edition) has an AMD Turion x2 processor and a Broadcom wlan card. This laptop is not mine, I borrowed it from a friend. The dv6135 is the one that's mine, is Intel based with a Core2Duo and an Intel 3945 wlan card. So, what I did was swap the wlan cards, I put the Broadcom card in my Intel based laptop and the Intel card on the AMD laptop, with these results (following your list, hehe) 1. What I said is that the Broadcom card worked well, actually it works AWESOME on MY Intel based laptop running OS X, uphuck's 1.3 DVD (OSx86 10.4.9). It shows as an airport card and works great. 2. Now, running Windows Vista, the Intel card DOES NOT show in the device manager of the AMD laptop (dv6220). 3. This one I'm not sure, I tried to fix it using the method posted on this thread and others found somewhere on the net but I couldn't find anything close. 4. On the AMD computer, I tried with a different, complete install of Vista and it didn't found the Intel card, I tried to install it manually but it says it can not load the drivers, also tried the automatic onlline driver search with no success. 5 and 6. I read these, tries to find that whitelist but I couldn't find anything even close. Thanks a lot for your help man. Cheers
  7. hp dv6000t laptop

Sorry to bother you guys but I was wondering if someone could help me to patch the BIOS from a dv6220 with AMD Turion x2 (not mine). I tried to follow the posted instructions but it seems that this BIOS is very different. It comes with a Broadcom wireless card, but i'm trying to put my intel 3945 in it, so I can keep the Broadcom (working awesome in os x right now) I'm not getting any 401 error but Windows (vista) doesn't seem to even see the hardware. It says it can't load the drivers, so I thought maybe it has something to do with the BIOS. Can anyone please help me? Cheers PS: I tried two Intel 3945 with no success. Bluedragon's patched BIOS worked great for my dv6135, where I put the Broadcom card.
  8. Logic Studio is working in my Hackintosh!

it's 7.2 G or something and that just the dvd 1, retail version comes with a lot of extras (8 dvd), including all of the garage band jam packs. Two days of download? that's easy. With my connection it will take another 7-8 days, been downloading for 2 already. I'm glad it's working fine. Cheers
  9. Intel Wireless driver

Well, first of all to all of you guys helping to get the 3945 card working. I installed the last version of iwi3945 (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=36976&st=2857#) with no success. I had a couple of crashes after installing it. System: HP Pavilion dv6135nr WiFi Card: Intel 3945 abg OS X Version: 10.4.9 (uphuck v1.3 dvd) These are my logs, I hope I made it right. Cheers. dmesg.txt ioreg.txt system.txt
  10. hp dv6000t laptop

ahhh... got it... awesome. I,m gonna try to get one of this cards, the Broadcom one, the Airport sounds expensive. Thanks a lot for your help guys. Cheers
  11. hp dv6000t laptop

well, sadly it's not working for me. I have a dv6135nr with the intel 9345 wi/fi card. I tried with the f27 and f16, neither worked for me. I just downloaded your (bluedragon's) zipped files, unzipped to my desktop (i'm on win xp sp2) and runned winflash utility from the winflash folder. I tried running flash32.bat but nothing happened. Then I pointed winflash to the patched BIOS file and it flashed all right. But OS X doesn't recognize my wireless card. Can you help me? Did I do something wrong?... I'm sad.
  12. Works AWESOME!!!! thanks a lot man!. The only thing I had to do different was setting the windows part active thru the Vista install disc. This might has something to do with the fact that I installed OS x after Vista. Cheers and thanks again
  13. hi ecarro, sorry for not being helpful, I'm running LP7.2 (hybrid crack) on my intel HP with uphuck 1.3 and it works great. I, however, just installed it yesterday and haven't find any workaround for the PRO features, I'd be really thankful if you could give me a hand with this. I Also installed LP7.2 (crossgrade) and the crack by k0munitta and it sorta works, I mean, it opens PRO and you can see all the features and stuff BUT it crashes when trying to Save and Record, so it's useless, but I think it's the best attempt. The crack is a Beta that will never be final release (according to the developer). So, anyway, I think you'll be fine installing LP on your 1.4i.
