  1. Disk Images for 128K

Does anyone know of a good source where I can find disk images for programs that'll work with my 128k? I know of macintoshgarden but that place seems like a wasteland of dead links. Thanks!
  2. Hey everyone, So I just downloaded Zephyroth AMD 10.5.2 since i wanted to do a fresh install, but in the install, im getting kernel panic here's what the message is like: NFS_Boot: Networking Not Initialized panic (cpu 0 called 0x002D68EE) NFS_BOOT_INIT_FAILED this is odd because most install dvd's will work for me (provided they have my SATA support for SB400) i tried the usual flags.. but nothing seems to work. Specs are: HP Pavillion a1129n AMD Athlon 64 3400+ 2.2 GHz MSI MOBO MS-7093 Chipset: Northbridge-RS480 , Southbridge-SB400 Realtek ALC658C Audio Realtek RTL8100C LAN SATA WD 200GB HDD IDE DVDRW (Set as Master) & IDE DVDROM (Set as Slave) Any help is greatly appreciated, I did do some searching, yet nothing useful turned up. Thanks!
  3. Hey guys. I was wondering if I could have some insight. I'm looking at getting an inexpensive hackintosh around $200, since I just need something to hold me over til I can save up to buy a real mac. I've found a refurbished Compaq Presario SR5010NX through tigerdirect for $199. I was just wondering how these specs would work with Leopard. From searching, it appears the only things that would require patches are the LAN and the Audio, but according to my findings, it appears it can be done and should work. I was just looking for some insight and reassurance. Motherboard: ECS 945GCT-HM Processor: Celeron D 360 @ 3.46 GHz Chipset: Intel 945GC Video: Intel GMA 950 Audio: Realtek ALC888 LAN: Realtek RTL8201E Northbridge: Intel 945GC Southbridge: Intel ICH7 Full specs here Item found here Also, I don't know much about using EFI, would I have any problems with it on this system? Thanks for any help,
  4. iDVD and iMovie 08 crash on hackintosh

So.. It appears that today Apple released an update to iDVD which i obtained from software update that seems to have actually taken care of my crashing issues. so far not a single crash! Hopefully this works for everyone else.
  5. iDVD and iMovie 08 crash on hackintosh

Do you have AC97 audio? My GarageBand did freeze until i put the original 2 channel only kext in.
  6. iDVD and iMovie 08 crash on hackintosh

As it would... you have an Intel CPU.. this problem is only really prevalent on AMD setups.. So with that said.. Anyone with an AMD have any luck?
  7. iDVD and iMovie 08 crash on hackintosh

Is your hackintosh Intel or AMD? My AMD crashes immediately after install without doing any of the updates.
  8. iDVD and iMovie 08 crash on hackintosh

hmm.. i dont think thats the case on my hackintosh.. system profiler shows en0 as my NIC's location.
  9. iDVD and iMovie 08 crash on hackintosh

So...heres my temporary plan for this (until some clever person gets this runin' under AMD)..im dyin to use iDVD 08, so i've decided to perform "lipo" on the app and strip it of all its intel code making it a PowerPC only app.. so, running it under rosetta, which is kinda slow, but bareable, seems to be working out alright...hasn't crashed yet! But i guess i'll take a slow iDVD over a no-iDVD. Here's the code i used to accomplish this: cd /Applications/iDVD.app/Contents/MacOS/ lipo iDVD -remove i386 -output iDVD Haven't tried this on iMovie..but thats only because mine has been working alright and hasn't crashed yet. Im sure it would work out the same.
  10. iDVD and iMovie 08 crash on hackintosh

My iMovie works..and has worked on all the different distros of installs ive tried. I just got done Trying Tubgirls SSE3 Test DVD and Jas's 10.4.8 AMD DVD (after patchin both installs to work with my SATA) .. both still have iDVD crashing. So it's def not a distro issue. I'm really starting to think its cus of my hackintosh bein AMD @ DSC106 : Is your GarageBand working? Mine locks the system up when loading, and requires a hard restart. hopefully someone out there has some hope for us..
  11. GarageBand Crashes System

I'm having the same exact problem now with GarageBand 08. Did you have any luck with 06?
  12. iDVD and iMovie 08 crash on hackintosh

My iDVD 08 is crashing too. AMD 64 3400+ 2.2GHz 1GB PC3200 DDR RAM 200GB SATA HDD NVIDIA 7100 GS 256MB QE/CI Enabled Uphuck v1.4a 10.4.10 (crashed prior to update too) I've tried different kernels.. Also attempted to try tubgirl's test 1 dvd..but shes lackin my SB450 SATA support. anyone have any ideas what i need to do to get this workin'? Thanks for any help!
