    Ivy-Bridge XCPM Kernelpatch for 10.12

thank you for the help. I tried your advice and got it working with iMac 14,2. then I updated to 10.12.6 and it stopped working. I redid everything since this post says a system update will break things, but it didn't help. The good thing is I know it works. perhaps the kernelpatch isn't the same. I did some searching but can't find anything about 10.12.6.

    Ivy-Bridge XCPM Kernelpatch for 10.12

I'm trying to get this work. I have an ivy bridge processor I tried using the freqvectorsedit.sh script but none of the board ids are the board I have. can you give me some direction on which board-id to use? my smbios is iMac 13,2 and that's pretty close to my hardware.

    Asus x99 Sabertooth compatible?

    Try searching "x99" and "clover"
  7. I have a glitch on the top and bottom of my screen when I'm booting up. It's between the apple logo and the login screen. It goes past pretty quickly and then turns into the common loading bar on the bottom of the screen problem, before everything works correctly at the user login screen. I've searched around some for a fix but couldn't find anything for this particular issue. I found some fixes for glitching on integrated graphics but nothing for a dedicated nvidia gpu with multiple monitors. I have monitors attached as DVI and HDMI. I'm on the latest web drivers but this has been an issue since upgrading ot el cap. It's a small issues, but any help, suggestions, or pointing me in the right direction would be very much appreciated. My specs are in my signature.

Gigabyte 970 reboots with multiple displays connected at startup

how do you have your displays connected? I had a nvidia card that would cause a boot up kp if a DVI to VGA monitor was connected.

[SUCCESS] GA-Q77M-D2H El Capitan / Clover Installation Thread

Hey sorry just seeing this. I ended up bricking the mobo (I think bc of using xmp profile) and can't test out any USB speeds. I describe how to set it up in the guide. It's not very difficult as it's mostly empty.

[GUIDE] USB Fix El Capitan 10.11

I don't know if this will help anyone but I got all of my usb ports working properly in 10.11.2 with some DSDT edits. All are functioning and activated as soon as the login screen appears (before some usb 2.0 ports were delayed about 10 seconds, while usb 3 worked immediately). I used the following DSDT patches: 1. PJALM's ASUS P8Z77-M motherboard patch 2. PJALM's Generic discrete graphics patch 3. Rename EHC1 to EH01 (thanks Rehabman) That's it. Not sure what exactly I did, but everything seems to be working well. I couldn't figure out how to make an injector kext but I'm sure that would have worked too because the injectall kext that's floating around enabled all of them immediately.
  11. You don't say what version of OS X you're running. You could try some of the tips, in post #3. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/290949-how-to-install-os-x-10x-snow-leopard-lion-mountain-lion-mavericks-yosemite-and-el-capitan-in-vmware-workstation-101112-or-player-678/
  12. Having a minor issue I can't seem to figure out so I thought I'd ask. Basically the problem is that when I first boot up the computer the usb 2.0 ports cut out and then turn back on about 10 - 15 seconds after the main login screen appears. I can tell when they cut out and come back because of the lights on the keyboard. This doesn't happen with the USB 3.0 ports and I don't see anything in the log related to it. I got all of my USB ports working using PJALM's DSDT edits. Not sure about 3.0 speeds but that's just because I don't have any 3.0 devices to test. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I have an ASUS P8Z77-M motherboard, GTX 970, and an i7-3770. Running 10.11.1 on Clover r3292.

    VM-ware install issues

Have you used this method? I used it today and got Yosemite working with a pc host. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/290949-how-to-install-os-x-10x-snow-leopard-lion-mountain-lion-mavericks-yosemite-and-el-capitan-in-vmware-workstation-101112-or-player-678/

[GUIDE] USB Fix El Capitan 10.11

Rehabman, I did some research, found your post about bluetooth firmware upload, and it looks like my GMYLE USB Bluetooth is by CSR not Broadcom. It seems to work ok when it's in a USB 3.0 port, just acts a little funny on USB 2.0.
