    VoodooHDA on Sierra

You can use AppleALC in Clover kexts folder too. And it works in Sierra just add the bootflag -alcbeta.

    ASUS K56CA - USB issues

You probably shouldn't use that dsdt, ssdt and config at all. You have to use your own, for k56ca every usb port should work vanilla. If you use other laptops dsdt, probably for k55 the webcam and usb ports are not defined where they should be for k56.

    Cursor issue

It's when you move or shake your cursor fast. New feature in El Cap, if you don't see your cursor you can shake your mouse and it will get bigger for you to see it. It can be disabled in Accessibility I think.

Ah, okey. I didn't know. Thanks for the information.

So, first thing is that you look at your DSDT. You search for your XHC1 and look there how many ports do you have there. Then you open that Info.plist and fill it with the number of ports you have in your DSDT. Then you change the port-count to the exact number of ports you have there. (it has to be in hexadecimal ) This same exact thing is written in the first post. Just more in depth. You should've read that like 10 times slowly to understand it. Oh, and now you need to change in the Info.plist two dependencies. com.apple.driver.usb.AppleUSBXHCI from 1.0 to 1.0.1 com.apple.iokit.IOUSBHostFamily from 1.0 to 1.0.1
  6. Disable SIP, move kexts to /Library/Extensions/ or inject them with Clover, don't use /S/L/E!!! Try to boot without caches so it is not trying to load any kernel cache. Kext-dev-mode and rootless are now obsolete, you have to enable loading unsigned kext by disabling SIP.
  7. Did you disable SIP in clover config? (Allowing to load unsigned kexts.) Seems to me your kexts aren't loaded. Had the same issue and screen when booting. Add this to your config.plist: <key>RtVariables</key> <dict> <key>CsrActiveConfig</key> <string>0x67</string> <key>BooterConfig</key> <string>0x28</string> </dict> or edit your config.plist with the latest Clover Configurator. (if you use an older version to edit your plist for something else and save it, it will remove it if you manually added this to your config.)

    Random Freeze

What kext did you use to check your reached states? I suggest using Pike's AICPMInfo.kext others failed for me to show all reached states. And I let Clover generate my SSDT. It works fine for me.
  9. Yeah, you can directly set SSD as the first boot option, just I am used to laptops and everything is built in and time consuming to move and take out, so as of precaution I thought it is better not to chose it as first boot option because of your computer didn't want to boot even to bios with SSD. I have bad experience with Paragon too. Had to format my whole drive and reinstall everything because it corrupted everything. So now I use exFat for my external drive and for one partition in my hard drive to move files between OS X and Windows. Just I found it's better to format to exFat in Windows and not in OS X. When I formatted in OS X, sometimes I had to run fsck to repair it. 5 sec solution but exFat formatted in Windows seems pretty solid for me for both OS X and Windows can use it. And what I like the best that it is natively supported. Paragon and other solutions for compatibility gave me a lot of kernel panics and once a fully corrupted drive. I chose not to use them anymore.
  10. It's weird you can't even access bios. It's acting like when my hard drive failed. First then I would try to add Clover as UEFI boot option in bios pointing to the SSD and not the hard drive. I would still boot from the hard drive and boot from it and move EFI to the SSD. Then at restart I would open that menu where you can choose which boot option to boot and try to boot from the SSD.

Yeah, I need an injector. Now I am looking at yours and trying to figure out to build one for myself. Edit: Thank you for your work, now I have all my ports defined in ioreg. Great work. Edit2: My mouse is working when plugged in USB 3.0 and FakePCIID is doing a great job now.

Sorry, my mistake. I am super tired, I should sleep now instead of talking bollocks. I meant by DSDT patch the _UPC/_PLD data fixing in DSDT. Sorry again.

So is it enough only to use the DSDT patch? Because in my DSDT for EHC1 I have a lot more ports defined but in ioReg only three appears now, but everything seems to work. Except Bluetooth because the firwareuploader isn't working but if I restart from Mavericks and the firmware is uploaded to RAM I got a working camera and bluetooth. They aren't conflicting with each other.

I tried that but somehow it doesn't grab all my ports, or the wrong ones because when I enable my bluetooth my camera doesn't work. They get recognized on the same internal port. This is why I am trying to define all my ports so it won't get messed up. I will try again maybe something has changed from DP3 till DP6. Thanks for the answer anyway. In info.plist update com.apple.driver.usb.AppleUSBEHCI to 1.0.1 and com.apple.iokit.IOUSBHostFamily to 1.0.1 too. Maybe this will help ya.
