[UEFIPatch] UEFI patching utility

Hi CodeRush, So sorry if I'm being stupid here. I've read through the instructions so many times. The attached screenshot shows what I'm trying to do with my Z87 Deluxe Dual Asus board. I open the patch in terminal, drag in the BIOS file twice, write PATCHED at the end of the second file and it say's it's output the file But I can't see it? Apologies if I'm wasting your time, but wanted to check I've got this right. Thanks in advance! Nick
2. I've clearly done something wrong from the start here! I have a Asus z87 Deluxe Dual with 4770k and have so far just built the machine, used ##### to install and have a working OSX 10.8.5, still booting off of USB, but nothing else so far. No bios changes, kexts or any other settings applied. It's limping along in this state, but I desperately need to be making the right decisions on moving forward. I know this is an irritating noob question, but have I done everything right so far? Should I start an install from scratch using another method before I go any deeper? Any support very greatfully received. I'm meant to be editing on Monday and at this rate I'll be putting my Z77 back together on Sunday! Thanks
3. Hi, So pleased to have found this thread. At least i now know it's possible! I've just built my first system using 10.8.5 with a z87 deluxe dual and 4770k. Upgraded as I desperately need thunderbolt for swapping edits between systems. It's loading fine (via USB), but i haven't changed anything from default settings in the bios or added any kexts, DSDT or anything else for that matter. Can anyone help me? Perhaps direct me to a noob walkthrough for this set up? I know I need to start with BIOS, but not really sure what to do with PMpatch. PM! I really hope you can help, you must have everything I need if you're up and running. I can't tell you how much I'd appreciate it! System overview: OSX 10.8.5 z87 Dual Deluxe Thunderbolt Motherboard Haswell 4770k CPU 2 DVD drives (not working) Asus onboard sound (not working) 2x PowerColor HD6870 1GB GDDR5 (GTX640, currently installed, and remove these cards to get through install, so need to get this fixed) Haven't dared install any of my other hardware yet!
