  1. Very interesting for me...hack test with a X8STE Supermicro and AMD 6450 (Framebuffer LOTUS): OS X 10.11.6 ... most time kernel Dump by load .. I think it has todo with the power managment. When it get trough - buffer isn't load OSX 10.10.5 .. Load all the time but doesn't load the framebuffer correct. as 10.11 OSX 10.7 Cursor with white screen, with the right resolution ./radeon_bios_decode < VER013.012.000.049.000000_1002_6779.rom ATOM BIOS Rom: SubsystemVendorID: 0x174b SubsystemID: 0xe164 IOBaseAddress: 0xc000 Filename: 164P03N5.NI2 BIOS Bootup Message: C26401 Junbonator DDR3 128Mx16 PCI ID: 1002:6779 Connector at index 0 Type [@offset 44578]: HDMI-A (11) Encoder [@offset 44582]: INTERNAL_UNIPHY1 (0x20) i2cid [@offset 44652]: 0x91, OSX senseid: 0x2 Connector at index 1 Type [@offset 44588]: DVI-D (3) Encoder [@offset 44592]: INTERNAL_UNIPHY (0x1e) i2cid [@offset 44679]: 0x93, OSX senseid: 0x4 Connector at index 2 Type [@offset 44598]: VGA (1) Encoder [@offset 44602]: INTERNAL_KLDSCP_DAC1 (0x15) i2cid [@offset 44706]: 0x90, OSX senseid: 0x1 ./redsock_bios_decoder < VER013.012.000.049.000000_1002_6779.rom 164P03N5.NI2: C26401 Junbonator DDR3 128Mx16 Subsystem Vendor ID: 174b Subsystem ID: e164 Object Header Structure Size: 203 Connector Object Table Offset: 34 Router Object Table Offset: 0 Encoder Object Table Offset: 9d Display Path Table Offset: 12 Connector Object Id [12] which is [HDMI_TYPE_A] encoder obj id [0x20] which is [iNTERNAL_UNIPHY1 (osx txmit 0x21 [duallink 0x1] enc 0x3)] linkb: true Connector Object Id [4] which is [DVI_D] encoder obj id [0x1e] which is [iNTERNAL_UNIPHY (osx txmit 0x10 [duallink 0x0] enc 0x0)] linkb: false Connector Object Id [5] which is [VGA] encoder obj id [0x15] which is [iNTERNAL_KLDSCP_DAC1 (osx txmit 0x00 enc 0x10?)] linkb: false Personality: Lotus ConnectorInfo count in decimal: 3 Disk offset in decimal 1855536 0000000 00040000 04 03 000000010000 11 02 01 01 0000010 00080000 04 02 000000010000 22 05 04 04 0000020 00040000 00 01 000000010000 21 03 02 02 0000030 Prepair 0000000 04000000 04 00 000000010000 10 00 01 04 0000010 00080000 04 02 000000010000 21 03 00 02 0000020 10000000 10 00 000000010000 00 10 02 01 buy the way, one of the 2009 mac pro bluetooth and usb is fixed after 10.11.6 in my office
  2. I'm with you. I see the different parts to fix. little bit lazy to fix usb this moment. I will lake a look at the graphic card this time...usb is easier i thing ... hunt my self .... Checked the out configuration of the FrameBuffers and all the same, only IOFBDependentID has changed (10.10.5) from 0x100000186 to 0x100000183. Ok Correct my self. OS X works with the right ports. my funny injection can change to the correct resolution and hot plug works in the same way as 10.10.5. Why I struggle with the ports when os x can do it right for me....*lol*
  3. Mieze, but 10.10.5 program the graphic card (ports) right. The 7350 (5450) is also programmed right in 10.11.6 and wake up works. Every Radeon needs a binary injection, like it does in linux. It is possible when Apple clean up they are upgrade / replace that parts. https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Radeon(Hardware detection). GFX1@0 -> ATY,bin_image By the way the 6870 wake up with usb keyboard - in my office with 10.10.5, before upgrade to 10.11... :-)
  4. while I'm at home tested Radeon 6570 and answer my self. With an old known trick I Injection ports looks like "@0,name", Buffer (0x0A) { "ATY,Turks" }, "@1,name", Buffer (0x0A) { "ATY,Turks" }, "@2,name", Buffer (0x0A) { "ATY,Turks" }, what doesn't make sense, (There is no framebufffer Turks), but OS X figure out what's best: 10.11.6 and 10.10.5 looks in iorg: | | | | +-o ATY,AMD,RadeonFramebuffer@0 <class AtiFbStub, id 0x1000002c8, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (613 ms), retain 8> | | | | +-o ATY,AMD,RadeonFramebuffer@1 <class AtiFbStub, id 0x1000002c9, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (2 ms), retain 8> | | | | +-o ATY,AMD,RadeonFramebuffer@2 <class AtiFbStub, id 0x1000002ca, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (2 ms), retain 8> | | | | +-o AMDTurksGraphicsAccelerator <class AMDTurksGraphicsAccelerator, id 0x1000002c4, registered, matched, active, busy 0 (0 ms), retain 36> 10.10.5 - Hotplug works and resolution switch are ok (Wrong display size but resolutions are ok 1920x1080 + 2540x1440 dual display and sleep. But wait a minute. Sleep only awake with press on the case (USB not complete fixed - I know DSTD.aml not that perfect here...) 10.11.6 - Hotplug works but dual screen on 1920x1080 + 1600x1200 - same as after fix Ipomoea. After Sleep no display...but usb from keyboard works..funny.
  5. Thanx for clarify. Wake as every body here around said: My Test System at home 7350 (HP OEM) ~ 5450 Wake up from sleep 6570 do not, what ever i tried. (But there are no complete, perfect frame buffer around: 6570 = Turks Pro Ipomoea, fits best = Dual Screen 1920x1080 + 1600x1200 or Pithecia = Single Screen - DVI-D 2540x1440) GTX 780 ti (webdriver) works. As I remember: I hacked the AMD6000 for 6970 + IGPU to get it run in the past 10.9.....Not new for me. Apple won't have hackintosh. Clear the drivers up mean: only recognize the hardware that we ship.... is 10.10.5 (last one as i remember from yosemite) wake up or till 10.10xxx it does not? Because for try out it's enough for me....this time. Side node: I got real macs, but I need to know how to repair...that's why got mackintosh around ...
  6. ATI Radeon 6xxx, working QE/CI

Here is the dp7 version, there isn't big change...Not tested, but should work. AMDRadeonX3000.kext.zip
  7. ATI Radeon 6xxx, working QE/CI

This is not work this time...you need two graphic cards... i use the igpu from the cpu.Take a look and read carefully http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/250804-ati-radeon-6xxx-working-qeci/page-37. While the igpu for me must enabled and default boot graphic card in the bios (igfx). "unattached" 6950/6970 for the ATI6000Controller.kext.
  8. ATI Radeon 6xxx, working QE/CI

Stay with 10.8.4 is good for now. 10.9 isn't released. dp6 is to unstable....here it is by your request... AMDRadeonX3000.kext.zip
  9. ATI Radeon 6xxx, working QE/CI

    Patched file for 6950/6970
  10. Version

    639 downloads

OS X 10.8.4 - use DSDT.aml - Needs First Graphicscard (HD3000/HD400) to start - Reboot twice for Graphicinitiation (cold bug - white screen) - No sleep because of cold bug with chameleon 2.2svn. Sleep works for me with Clover.
  11. ATI Radeon 6xxx, working QE/CI

Desktop HD 6970 10.8.4 & 10.9 dp 6 works, except by: - DSDT.aml - hd4000/hd3000 boot igpu as master . cold boot bug - no sleep because of cold bug with chameleon. With Clover sleep on 10.8.4 works. 6970 isn't realy working OpenGL bugs the same for 10.8.4 and 10.9 dp 6 while opengl shows as 10.8.4 GL 3.2 and 10.9 dp6 GL 4.1 it's still cayman xt prototype ....
  12. The Holy ALC663 Problem Solving Thread

Look at the linux code, yes codecs from same chipset can be different linux source 2.6 hope this makes it clear. here is the datasheet from realtek ALC663_DataSheet_1.0.pdf
  13. The Holy ALC663 Problem Solving Thread

Ok, I was testing this driver here. This change not what I said at first. (Boot Windows then OSX Warmstart Soundcard enabled). My clean Azallia only got this: AppleAzalliaAudio Contents/Info.plist .. <key>IOHDAudioCodecVendorID</key> <string>0x10ec0663</string> .. This is the Codec PlugIns/AppleAzaliaController.kext/Contents/Info.plist .. <key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key> <string>0x293e8086</string> .. This is the audio bridge ich9 ALCinject.kext/Contents/Info.plist .. <key>IONameMatch</key> <array> <string>pci8086,293e</string> </array> <key>IOPCIMatch</key> <string>0x00008086&amp</string> .. only the bridge. The warmstart has todo with the bios. needs init. This has nothing todo with an bluetooth device. - I got no bluetooth here. I got an ASUS Pro72V Sata - Works USB - Works Sound (Warmstart - Azallia) only output NVIDIA GeForce 9650M GT (1GB - Display 1440x900 QE/CI) - works PS2 Works, needs my german layout patch - not tested this time. (Boot for test over usb only!)
  14. ALC663 Realtek HD-Sound issue

Ok, got Azalia working with my notebook and sound when I start windows vista at first. This enable the soundcard. A reboot is a warmstart. What does this mean: Azalia it self work, but enable not the mixer.
  15. PS2 Keyboard Fix

I fixed it here by create a rc.local in /etc sudo -s touch /etc/rc.local nano /etc/rc.local ------------------------------- #!/bin/bash . Test System: osx 10.4.10
